The soundtrack features selections from the original score of the show’s fourth season composed by Ramin Djawadi (Iron Man, Pacific Rim, Clash of the Titans). Also included is the cover version of the song The Rains of Castamere by the Icelandic band Sigur Rós, which was previously released as a single. The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 10, 2014 and physically on July 1 by WaterTower Music. healingA soundtrack album for the Australian drama Healing has been announced. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner David Hirschfelder (ElizabethShineThe Railway ManLegend of the Guardians). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 7, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips below. Healing is directed by Craig Monahan and stars Hugo Weaving, Xavier Samuel, Don Hany, Xavier Samuel, Anthony Hayes, Jane Menelaus, Mark Leonard Winter, Robert Taylor and Justine Clarke. The movie chronicles a prison inmate’s last 18 months before release after serving a 16-year term as he is sent to a prison farm, where a senior officer has established a unique program to rehabilitate broken men. The drama was released in Australia earlier this month. hot-tub-time-machineChristophe Beck confirmed in a recent interview with We Are Movie Geeks that he is returning to score the upcoming comedy sequel Hot Tub Time Machine 2. The film reunites director Steve Pink (About Last Night, Accepted), screenwriter Josh Heald and actors Rob Corddry, Craig Robinson, Clark Duke and Chevy Chase. They are joined by new cast members Adam Scott and Gillian Jacobs. In the sequel, Nick, Lou and Jacob attempt to go back to the past, but inadvertently end up ten years in the future, which they must alter if they want to save their present-day environment. The show is created by Stephanie Savage (Gossip Girl, Hart of Dixie, Endless Love) and stars JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Odette Annable, Zoe Boyle, Azure Parsons and Desmond Harrington. The 10-episode limited series is based on the book by Lily Koppel and tells the true story of the women who stood beside some of the biggest heroes in American history during the height of the space race. Savage is executive producing the Fake Empire, Groundswell Productions and ABC Studios production with Josh Schwartz (The O.C., Len Goldstein (The Carrie Daries), Michael London (Sideways, The Illusionist, The Visitor) and Janice Williams. The 50-minute film focuses on composer Don Davis and his involvement with The Matrix Live, a live to picture concert, which the composer last conducted on May 17, 2014 in Stuttgart, Germany. The composer talks about his musical background, his influences, how he first met the Wachowski siblings on the thriller Bound and his experience working on the original The Matrix in 1998 and 1999. The film is directed by James Kent (The Thirteenth Tale, The Secret Diaries of Miss Anne Lister) and stars Alicia Vikander, Kit Harrington, Taron Egerton, Colin Morgan, Dominic West, Emily Watson, Joanna Scanlan, Hayley Atwell, Jonathan Bailey, Alexandra Roach and Anna Chancellor. The BBC Films production is based on the autobiography of Vera Brittain and tells the story of the British writer and pacifist who postponed her studies at Oxford University during World War I to serve as a Voluntary Aid Detachment nurse in London, Malta and France.
