Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for Clark Gregg’s indie comedy Trust Me. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Kilian (Tsotsi, Pitch Perfect, Rendition, Traitor). The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 26, 2014. A CD version will come out on October 7 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Trust Me is written and directed by Gregg who also stars in the film alongside Felicity Huffman, Allison Janney, William H. Macy, Amanda Peet, Sam Rockwell, Molly Shannon, Niecy Nash, Saxon Sharbino and Paul Sparks. The movie follows a loser talent agent who is determined to achieve Hollywood success with a 13-year-old star he has discovered. The comedy opened in select theaters and on VOD earlier this summer and will be released on August 26 on DVD.

Two new movies are opening wide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the sci-fi action thriller Edge of Tomorrow
directed by Doug Liman and starring Tom Cruise, Emily Blunt, Bill Paxton, Charlotte Riley, Jonas Armstrong and Franz Drameh. The film’s original music is composed by Christophe Beck (Frozen, The Muppets, Buffy the Vampire Slayer). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music earlier this week. Check out our soundtrack announcement for the full album details and to listen to audio clips. Also opening wide is the romantic drama The Fault in Our Stars directed by Josh Boone and starring Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, Laura Dern, Sam Trammell, Nat Wolff and Willem Dafoe. Atlantic Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the film by artists including Ed Sheeran, Birdy, Grouplove, M83, Kodaline, Jake Bugg and more. Mark Kilian to Score Clark Gregg’s ‘Trust Me’
Mark Kilian is scoring the upcoming comedy Trust Me. The film is written and directed by Clark Gregg and stars himself, alongside Sam Rockwell, Amanda Peet, Paul Sparks, Felicity Huffman, Allison Janney, William H. Macy, Molly Shannon and Saxon Sharbino. The movie follows a loser agent for young actors who stumbles upon a brilliant female 13-year-old prodigy and tries to close a deal that will make her a star. Gregg is also producing the Savage Bunny, Bron Studio and Unified Pictures production with Mary Vernieu, Aaron L. Gilbert and Keith Kjarval (A Single Shot). Gregg’s previous directorial effort Choke based on Fight Club author Chuck Palahniuk featured music by Nathan Larson.
