Nathan Larson has recently scored the upcoming indie crime drama The Wannabe. The film is written and directed by Nick Sandow and stars Vincent Piazza, Patricia Arquette, Michael Imperioli, David Zayas and Doug E. Doug. The movie is in New York City during the early 1990s and follows a man obsessed with mob culture who attempts to fix the jury in the trial of John Gotti. Lizzie Nastro (Bluebird) is producing the project with Mike Gasparro are producing the Electric Entertainment production. Soundtrack Details Announced for Alexandre Aja’s ‘Horns’

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for Alexandre Aja’s horror thriller Horns. The album features the songs from the film by artists including David Bowie, Marilyn Manson, The Shivers, The Flaming Lips, Eels, Junip and The Pixies. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 28, 2014 and physically on November 11. Audio clips will be added to this article soon. As previously reported, the label has also released a separate soundtrack featuring the film’s original score composed by Rob. Horns stars Daniel Radcliffe, Juno Temple, Heather Graham, Max Minghella, David Morse, Kelli Garner, Joe Anderson, Kathleen Quinlan and James Remar. The movie based on the best-selling book by Joe Hill follows a small-town guy who, after being blamed for the death of his girlfriend, wakes up one morning to find a pair of horns growing from his head. Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album for the indie thriller Felony. The album features the film’s original music composed by Bryony Marks (Noise, Dance Academy). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. Felony is directed by Matthew Saville and stars Tom Wilkinson, Joel Edgerton, Jai Courtney and Melissa George. The movie follows three male detectives who become embroiled in a tense struggle after a tragic accident that leaves a child in a coma. Intrada Records has announced a new release featuring two soundtracks composed and conducted by Michel Legrand (The Thomas Crown Affair, Never Say Never Again, Yentl). The album features the world premiere release of the complete score for the 1971 drama Summer of ’42 directed by Richard Mulligan and starring Jennifer O’Neill & Gary Grimes. The composer received one of his three Academy Awards for his work on the film. Also included on the 2-CD set is the complete score for the 1969 adventure The Picasso Summer directed by Robert Sallin and starring Albert Finney & Yvette Mimieux. Laurent Eyquem is currently scoring the upcoming Lifetime mini-series The Red Tent. The bible-themed drama is based on the best-selling novel by Anita Diamant and stars Minnie Driver, Morena Baccarin, Rebecca Ferguson, Iain Glen, Will Tudor and Debra Winger. The two-part series tells the story of Dinah, the daughter of Leah and Jacob, who was only referred to in small glimpses in the Old Testament. Roger Young (Lassiter, The Squeze) has directed the series from a script by Elizabeth Chandler (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, A Little Princess). Singer/songwriter Scott Walker is set to score the upcoming indie drama The Childhood of a Leader. The project marks the directorial debut of actor Brady Corbet and stars Robert Pattinson, Tim Roth, Berenice Bejo and Stacy Martin. The movie is set in 1918 and tells the story of a young American living in France whose father is working for the US government on the creation of the Treaty of Versailles. Corbet has also written the screenplay with Mona Fastvold (The Sleepwalker). Walt Disney Records to Release ‘Big Hero 6’ Soundtrack

Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ feature Big Hero 6. The album features the film’s original music composed by Henry Jackman (Wreck-It-Ralph, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, X-Men: First Class, Puss in Boots), as well as the end title track Immortals performed by Fall Out Boy. The song is featured in the New York Comic-Con Sizzle that was shown to fans earlier this week and is embedded after the jump.
