MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album for the action adventure Last Knights. The album features the film’s original music composed by percussionist Satnam Ramgotra and cellist Martin Tillman (The Ring Two). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon. Rickey Minor has been tapped to compose the music for the upcoming NBC comedy Mr. Robinson. The show is created by Robb & Mark Cullen (Back in the Game, Cop Out) and stars Craig Robinson, Ben Koldyke, Amandla Stenberg, Brandon T. Jackson, Peri Gilpin, Spencer Grammer and Tim Bagley. The series follows a man who jams in a rock band called Nasty Delicious that has been unsuccessfully trying to break out for a decade at night and also has a gig as a substitute music teacher with the Chicago School District by day. Robb and Mark Cullen are also executive producing the Universal Television and 3 Arts Entertainment production with Howard Klein (The Office, Parks and Recreation, The Mindy Project), Mark Schulman and Andy Ackerman (Seinfeld, The New Adventures of Old Christine) who also directed the pilot episode. David Robbins is scoring the upcoming HBO original series The Brink. The show is created by Kim and Roberto Benabib and stars Jack Black, the composer’s brother Tim Robbins, Pablo Schreiber, Aasif Mandvi, Maribeth Monroe, Eric Ladin, Esai Morales and Geoff Pierson. The comedy follows the U.S. Secretary of State, a lowly Foreign Service officer and an ace Navy fighter pilot who must pull through the chaos around them to save the planet from World War III. Intrada Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for Paramount Pictures’ 2005 thriller Red Eye directed by Wes Craven and starring Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy. The album features the film’s original music written by Academy Award-nominated composer Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, The Hurt Locker, World War Z) who collaborated with the director on the Scream movies among other projects. John Paesano is scoring the upcoming drama Same Kind of Different as Me. The film is directed by Michael Carney and stars Renee Zellweger, Greg Kinnear, Djimon Hounsou, Olivia Holt and Jon Voight. The movie based on the book of the same title by Ron Hall, Denver Moore & Lynn Vincent (Heaven Is for Real) follows an international art dealer who must befriend a dangerous homeless man in order to save his struggling marriage to his wife. Carney has also written the screenplay with Hall and Alexander Foard. Premiering tonight is the Lifetime original movie Seeds of Yesterday directed by Shawn Ku (Beautiful Boy) and starring Rachael Carpani, James Maslow, Jason Lewis, Sammi Hanratty, Anthony Konechny, Leah Gibson and Nikohl Boosheri. The film’s original movie is composed by Douglas Pipes (Monster House, Trick ‘r’ Treat). Seeds of Yesterday is the final installment in the Dollananger series based on V.C. Andrews’ best- selling book series following Flowers in the Attic and Petals of the Wind, which were both scored by Mario Grigorov, and If There Be Thorns, which was scored by Pipes and premiered on Lifetime last Sunday.
