Intrada Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1996 psychological thriller Fear directed by James Foley and starring Mark Wahlberg, Reese Witherspoon, Alyssa Milano, William Petersen and Amy Brenneman. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee Carter Burwell (Carol, The Banshees of Inisherin, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Fargo, True Grit, Twilight) and conducted/orchestrated by Shirley Walker. The CD is now available to order on Amazon or the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. Danny Elfman to Return for ‘Fifty Shades Freed’
Danny Elfman will be returning music as the composer for the upcoming sequel Fifty Shades Freed. The film is directed by James Foley (Glengarry Glenn Ross, Confidence) who also helmed this year’s Fifty Shades Darker and stars Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Arielle Kebbel, Kim Basinger, Brant Daugherty and Luke Grimes. The movie continues the story from 2015’s Fifty Shades of Grey and this year’s Fifty Shades Darker, which Elfman also scored. Niall Leonard has written the screenplay for the final installment in the trilogy based on E.L. James’ bestselling novel.

Danny Elfman has signed on to compose the music for the upcoming sequel Fifty Shades Darker. The film is directed by James Foley (Glengarry Glenn Ross, Confidence, Perfect Strangers) and stars Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Eric Johnson, Bella Heathcote, Arielle Kebbel and Kim Basinger. The movie continues the story from last year’s Fifty Shades of Grey, which Elfman also scored, and follows Christian as he wrestles with his inner demons, and Anastasia who must confront the anger and envy of the women who came before her. Niall Leonard has written the screenplay based on E.L. James’ bestselling novel. Michael De Luca & Dana Brunetti (The Social Network, Captain Phillips, 21) are also producing the project with James.
