The movie follows a successful couple who house and care for a pregnant woman during the final months of her pregnancy with the hopes of adopting her unborn child. Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the documentary I Am Big Bird: The Caroll Spinney Story. The album features the film’s original music composed by Joshua Johnson. The soundtrack will be released on July 31, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. I Am Big Bird is directed and produced by Dave LaMattina & Chad Walker and chronicles the life of Caroll Spinney, the man who has been Sesame Street’s Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch since 1969. Fake Diamond Records will release a soundtrack album for the Danish drama Gold Coast. The album features the film’s original music composed by Angelo Badalamenti (Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, The Straight Story), Lasse Martinussen and Johan Carøe, as well as the title song Remember Me performed by Kwamie Liv. Walt Disney Records has released the music from the Pixar animated short Lava. The single features the original song from the movie composed by the film’s director James Ford Murphy and featuring vocals by Kuana Torres Kahele and Napua Greig. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out an audio sample. Lava tells a story that takes place over millions of years and is inspired by the beauty of tropical islands and the allure of ocean volcanoes. The animated short is being released in front of Pixar’s Inside Out, which opens in theaters nationwide this Friday, July 19.
