Warner Classics has announced Danny Elfman: Cello Concerto & Film Music Gautier Capuço, an album featuring the premiere recording of the Academy Award-nominated composer’s Cello Concerto, written expressly for the French cellist Gautier Capuçon. The music is performed with Lionel Bringuier and the BBC Concert Orchestra and appears alongside themes from some of Elfman’s most beloved film and television scores, including The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Simpsons, Spider-Man, Batman, Alice in Wonderland, Black Beauty, Fifty Shades of Grey, Good Will Hunting, among others, all arranged by pianist Jérôme Ducros. The album will be released digitally and physically on November 20. Check back on this page for the pre-order link of the CD and vinyl edition.
