Emilio Kauderer is composing the music for the upcoming thriller Secret in Their Eyes. The film is directed by Billy Ray (Breach, Shattered Glass) and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman and Dean Norris. The movie is based on the 2009 Argentinian film of the same title, which received the Academy Award in the Best Foreign Language category, and follows an assistant district attorney who is returning to Los Angeles as a team of investigators uncovers new evidence in a 13-year-old case that may finally convict the savage killer of a child. ‘Tig’ Soundtrack Released

A soundtrack album has been released for the documentary Tig. The album features the film’s original music composed by Guster frontman Ryan Miller (Safety Not Guaranteed, The Kings of Summer, In a World…). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Tig is directed by Kristina Goolsby & Ashley York and centers on comedian Tig Notaro who found herself on stage in 2012 when she opened her standup set at Largo in Los Angeles with the line “Good evening. Premiering on Wednesday, August 12, is the ABC Family original series Kevin from Work created by Barbie Adler (How I Met Your Mother) and starring Noah Reid, Paige Spara, Matt Murray, Jordan Hinson and Punam Patel. The show’s original music is composed by Dominic Lewis (Free Birds, The DUFF, Spooks: The Greater Good). Kevin from Work follows a young man who professes his love to a co-worker before accepting another job, only to find that his offer has been rescinded. Rob Simonsen has been tapped to score the upcoming drama Burnt. The film is directed by John Wells (August: Osage County, The Company Men) and stars Bradley Cooper, Sienna Miller, Omar Sy, Daniel Bruhl, Matthew Rhys, Lily James, Alicia Vikander, Sam Keeley, Uma Thurman and Emma Thompson. The movie, which was originally entitled Adam Jones, follows a chef in Paris who only ever cared about the thrill of creating explosions of taste and wants to obtain the Michelin three-star rating. Dan Romer has scored the new Amazon Studios pilot Sneaky Pete. The show is created by David Shore (House, Battle Creek) & Bryan Cranston and stars Giovanni Ribisi, Marin Ireland, Margo Martindale, Shane McRae, Libe Barer and Peter Gerety. Cranston also appears in the series as a guest star. The drama follows a conman who, after leaving prison, takes cover from his past by assuming the identity of his former cellmate, and gets roped into the family’s bail bond business. Four new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the superhero movie Fantastic Four directed by Josh Trank and starring Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell and Toby Kebbell. The film’s original music is composed by Marco Beltrami (Scream, The Wolverine, World War Z, 3:10 to Yuma) and Philip Glass (The Hours, Notes on a Scandal, Candyman). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ music digitally last week and a CD version is set to come out on August 14. Also opening wide is the thriller The Gift directed by Joel Edgerton who also stars in the film alongside Rebecca Hall and Jason Bateman. Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans (Enemy, Martha Marcy May Marlene, The One I Love, The Wolfpack) have composed the film’s original music. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score digitally today. A CD version is also available overseas. ‘The Paradise’ Season 2 Soundtrack Details

Silva Screen Records will release a new soundtrack album for the BBC original series The Paradise. The album features selections from the second season of the show composed by Maurizio Malagnini who recently received his first Emmy Award nomination for his work on the project. The soundtrack will be released on August 14, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring the composer’s score from the first season. The Paradise adapted from the classic French novel by Emile Zola is set in the first department store in the 19th century North East of England and tells the story of the life and loves of the staff and their customers. Sony Music will release a soundtrack album for the Australian drama Holding the Man. The album features the songs from the film by artists including T. Rex, Rufus Wainwright, Bronski Beat, Bryan Ferry, Dave Mason, Roger Hodgson, Dragon, Masters Apprentices & more. Also included are four tracks from the movie’s original score composed by Alan John. The soundtrack will be released on August 21, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Holding the Man is directed by Neil Armfield (Candy) and stars Craig Stott, Ryan Corr, Anthony LaPaglia, Guy Pearce, Kerry Fox and Sarah Snook.
