‘Deepwater Horizon’ Soundtrack Announced

Warner Bros. Records will release the official soundtrack album for Peter Berg’s action drama Deepwater Horizon. The album features the film’s original music composed by Steve Jablonsky (Transformers series, Ender’s Game, Lone Survivor, The Island, Pain & Gain). Also included is the original song Take Me Down performed by Gary Clark Jr. The soundtrack will be released on September 23, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Lady Gaga to Compose & Perform Songs for Bradley Cooper’s ‘A Star is Born’

According to Deadline, Lady Gaga will be composing and performing music for the upcoming remake of the movie musical A Star Is Born. The film will mark the directorial feature debut of Bradley Cooper who will also star in the movie alongside Gaga who will be playing the lead role and portray a singer whose star rises as quickly as her troubled lover/mentor’s star is falling. Cooper is also writing the screenplay with Will Fetters (Remember Me, The Lucky One) and is producing the project with Todd Phillips (The Hangover, Old School), Billy Gerber (Villa Capri) and Jon Peters (Batman, Superman Returns, Ali). The Warner Bros. Pictures production is set to start shooting in early 2017.
