Premiering on Tuesday, September 27, is the new Syfy original series Aftermath created by William Laurin & Glenn Davis and starring Anne Heche, Julia Sarah Stone, Taylor Hickson, Levi Meaden and James Tupper. The show’s original music is composed by Andrew Lockington (San Andreas, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, City of Ember). Premiering on Friday, September 30, is the Netflix original series Luke Cage developed by Cheo Hodari Coker based on the Marvel Comics character and starring Mike Colter, Mahershala Ali, Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, Theo Rossi, Frank Whaley and Sônia Braga. ‘Orange Sunshine’ Soundtrack Announced

Varese Sarabande has announced a soundtrack album for the documentary Orange Sunshine. The album features the film’s original music composed by singer/songwriter Matt Costa. The soundtrack will be released on November 11, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Orange Sunshine is directed by William A. Kirkley and tells the story of the Brotherhood of Eternal Love – a spiritual group of surfers and hippies in Southern California that became the largest suppliers of psychedelic drugs in the world during the 1960s and early 1970s. Lyle Workman Scoring ‘Bad Santa 2’

Lyle Workman is composing the original score for the upcoming comedy Bad Santa 2. The film is directed by Mark Waters and stars Billy Bob Thornton, Kathy Bates, Christina Hendricks, Tony Cox, Brett Kelly, Ryan Hansen, Jenny Zigrino and Jeff Skowron. The movie follows the title character who teams up once again with his angry little sidekick, Marcus, to knock off a Chicago charity on Christmas Eve. Johnny Rosenthal & Shauna Cross (If I Stay, Whip It) have written the screenplay. Geyer Kosinski (Fargo, Bad News Bears) and Andrew Gunn (Sky High, Bedtime Stories) are producing the project. ‘Abattoir’ Soundtrack Released

Filmtrax has released a soundtrack album for the horror thriller Abattoir. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Sayfritz (Dark Tide, Dean Man Running, Until Death). The soundtrack is now available on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Abattoir is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II-IV, Repo! The Genetic Opera) and stars Jessica Lowndes, Joe Anderson, Lin Shaye and Dayton Callie. The movie follows an investigative reporter who happens upon a series of gruesome murders tied to real estate mysteries, where entire rooms have been dismantled and pulled from their foundations. Expected to top the weekend box office is the western The Magnificent Seven directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Byung-Hun Lee and Peter Sarsgaard. The film’s original music is composed by James Horner (Titanic, Avatar, Braveheart) and Simon Franglen. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score. Also opening wide is the animated feature Storks directed by Nicholas Stoller & Doug Sweetland and featuring the voices of Andy Samberg, Kelsey Grammer, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Katie Crown, Ty Burrell and Jennifer Aniston. Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, Surf’s Up) and Jeff Danna (The Good Dinosaur) have composed the film’s original music. Soundtrack Details for Clint Eastwood’s ‘Sully’ Revealed

Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for Clint Eastwood’s hit drama Sully. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christian Jacob and The Tierney Sutton Band, as well as the movie’s main theme written by Clint Eastwood. Also included is the end titles song Flying Home based on Eastwood’s theme and performed by the Tierney Sutton Band. Sully starring Tom Hanks, Aaron Eckhart and Laura Linney tells the true story of Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger who became a national hero in 2009 after he successfully executed an emergency water landing of US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River. The soundtrack will be released on November 4, 2016 by Varese Sarabande and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Hacksaw Ridge is directed by Gibson and stars Andrew Garfield, Sam Worthington, Luke Bracey, Teresa Palmer, Rachel Griffiths, Hugo Weaving and Vince Vaughn. Andrew Lockington has been tapped to score the upcoming Syfy original series Aftermath. The show is created by William Laurin & Glenn Davis (1-800 Missing, The Listener) and stars Anne Heche, Julia Sarah Stone, Taylor Hickson, Levi Meaden and James Tupper. The drama revolves around a family who must battle for survival after civilization comes to an apocalyptic end, triggered by massive storms, meteor strikes, earthquakes and plague – and the rise of supernatural creatures.
