Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the South Korean Disney+/Hulu original series Hyper Knife. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by the project’s music director Baek Eun-woo , as well as Yang Seongho, Kim TaeJoon & Jung Youri. Also included is the song Dis-Moi, Je T’Aime by U.BAR.E. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 9 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Hyper Knife is written by Kim Sun-hee, directed by Kim Jung-hyun and stars Park Eun-bin, Sul Kyung-gu, Park Byung-eun and Yoon Chan-young. Cristobal Tapia de Veer (Smile, Utopia, Babygirl, The Girl with All the Gifts, National Treasure, The Third Day) has confirmed that there will be no soundtrack release for third season of the HBO original series The White Lotus following his departure from the show due to creative differences with creator Mike White. WaterTower Music has released the composer’s main title theme from Season 3 this past February and two full soundtrack albums for his Emmy Award-winning scores from Season 1 and Season 2. Instead of a new soundtrack release, the label has published two four-hour soundscapes (Ocean Ambience – 4 Hours of Gentle Waves for Deep Relaxation & Evening Ambience – 4 Hours by the Fire Pit for Calm and Contemplation) following the debut on the season finale this past Sunday. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1992 sport comedy drama A League of Their Own directed by Penny Marshall and starring Tom Hanks, Geena Davis, Madonna, Lori Petty, David Strathairn, Jon Lovitz, Garry Marshall and Bill Pullman. The album features the premiere release of the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Dune, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean, Man of Steel, Rain Man). The CD is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. Rod Wave’s Title Song from Ryan Coogler’s ‘Sinners’ Released

Alamo Records & Sony Music Entertainment have released the first song from Ryan Coogler’s supernatural drama Sinners. Available to stream/download on all major digital music services is the soundtrack’s lead single and title track co-written (with Darius Poviliunas, Kyris D’Asia Mingo & Tarkan Kozluklu) and performed by Rod Wave. A full soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie will be released on April 18 and, as previously reported, a separate album featuring Ludwig Göransson’s original score will be coming out on the same day.
