Walt Disney Records has announced the first-ever vinyl release of the soundtrack album for Gore Verbinski’s 2003 action adventure Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl starring Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. The album features the film’s original music composed by Klaus Badelt (The Time Machine, Constantine, The Recruit, Rescue Dawn, K-19: The Widowmaker, Poseidon) and produced by Hans Zimmer. The soundtrack will be released on translucent “Black Ice” vinyl this Friday, November 21 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released the original 2003 soundtrack album digitally on CD. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is now available on VOD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD.
