20th Century Fox TV Records will release a soundtrack album for the FX original series The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Emmy Award winner Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Horror Story, Feud: Bette and Joan, Scream Queens) who previously composed the music for the first American Crime Story season, The People v. O.J. Simpson. Marvel Music and Hollywood Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Jessica Jones. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Sean Callery (24, Homeland, Marvel’s Inhumans, Designated Survivor, Bones), as well as a new version of the composer’s main title theme, for which he received his fourth Emmy Award in 2016. Also included is the song I Want Your Cray Cray performed by Rachel Taylor & Kandi Marks. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 16 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. MovieScore Media will release a soundtrack album for the Russian drama Mathilde. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, Logan, The Hurt Locker, World War Z, Scream, The Wolverine) and performed by the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 16 and will be available to download on Amazon. Quartet Records has announced a CD version to be released in a couple of weeks. Mathilde is directed by Aleksey Uchitel and stars Danila Kozlovsky, Michalina Olszanska and Lars Eidinger. The movie tells the story of the tumultuous romance between the heir to the Russian throne, Nikolai Romanov, and a ballerina of the Imperial Theater, Mathilde Kshesinskaja, from the time they met in 1890 to the coronation of Nikolai and his wife Alexandra Fedorovna in 1896. The show is executive produced by Darren Aronofsky (Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain) & Jane Root, hosted by Will Smith and tells the extraordinary story of Earth, told from the only people who have ever left it: astronauts. The 10-part series, which was filmed across 45 countries, on six continents and from outer space, reveals the twists of fate that have allowed life to emerge, survive and thrive on Earth. The full details of the soundtrack album for Steven Spielberg’s movie adaptation of Ready Player One have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Alan Silvestri (Back to the FutureForrest GumpThe AvengersCaptain America: The First Avengers). Golden Globe nominee Michael Nyman (The Piano, Gattaca, The End of the Affair, Ravenous) has composed the music for the upcoming documentary McQueen. The film is directed by Ian Bonhôte (Alleycats) and centers on Alexander McQueen, the working-class boy who rose from Savile Row tailor’s apprentice to become the most celebrated and controversial fashion designer in the world. Blake Neely has been hired to score the upcoming Lifetime original series You. The show is created by Greg Berlanti (Love, Simon, Everwood, Life As We Know It) & Sera Gamble (The Magicians) and stars Penn Badgley, Elizabeth Lail, Shay Mitchell, Zach Cherry, Luca Padovan, as well as John Stamos, Michael Maize and Ambyr Childers who will appear in recurring roles. The drama is based on based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novel of the same title and tells the story of a bookstore employee who becomes obsessed with one of his customers and faces the question: How far will he go for love?. Baby Driver Volume 2: The Score For A Score features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Steven Price (Gravity, Suicide Squad, The World’s End, Fury), as well as more songs from the movie and dialogue excerpts. Vik Sharma has composed the original score for the upcoming comedy drama Fighting with My Family. The film is written and directed by Stephen Merchant (Cemetery Junction, The Office) and stars Dwayne Johnson, Vince Vaughn, Florence Pugh, Nick Frost and Lena Headey. The movie is inspired by the Channel 4 British documentary The Wrestlers: Fighting With My Family and revolves around a reformed gangster and former wrestler, his wife and their children, who make a living performing in tiny venues across the country.
