Rupert Gregson-Williams (Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Hacksaw Ridge, The Legend of Tarzan) has composed the music for the Netflix original movie The Week Of. The film is directed by Robert Smigel and stars Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Steve Buscemi, Rachel Dratch and Allison Strong. The comedy revolves around two fathers with clashing views about their children’s upcoming wedding struggle who try to keep it together during the chaotic week before the big day. The only movie opening nationwide this weekend is Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War directed by Joe & Anthony Russo and starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt. The film’s original music is composed by Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump). La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for David Fincher’s 1992 sci-fi horror sequel Alien 3 starring Sigourney Weaver, Charles S. Dutton and Charles Dance. The album features the expanded original score from the 20th Century Fox production composed and orchestrated by Academy Award winner Elliot Goldenthal (Frida, Interview with the Vampire, Heat, Batman Forever, S.W.A.T., Public Enemies), including over 40 minutes of previously unreleased music. It was announced during Paramount Pictures’ presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas that singer/songwriter Rachel Platten has recorded an original song for the upcoming animated feature Wonder Park. The track, entitled Wonder, will be featured in the movie, which stars Matthew Broderick, Jennifer Garner, Jeffrey Tambor, Kenan Thompson, Ken Jeong, Mila Kunis and John Oliver.
