The film is directed by Steve McQueen (Shame) and stars Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki, Cynthia Erivo, Colin Farrell, Brian Tyree Henry, Daniel Kaluuya, Garret Dillahunt, Carrie Coom, Jacki Weaver, Jon Bernthal, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Robert Duvall and Liam Neeson. The movies is based on the 1983 British miniseries of the same title and follows four armed robbers who are killed in a failed heist attempt, leaving their widows to finish the job. A soundtrack album has been released for the Icelandic comedy Under the Tree (Undir trénu). The album features the film’s original music composed by Daníel Bjarnason (The Deep). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Under the Tree is co-written and directed by Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurdsson and stars Steinþór Hróar Steinþórsson, Edda Björgvinsdóttir and Sigurður Sigurjónsson. The movie follows a man who is accused of adultery and forced to move in with his parents, where is gradually sucked into a dispute between his parents and their neighbors over an old and beautiful tree. The movie is set set in West Virginia and follows three siblings as they try to escape the spiral of violence that has held them captive since their father’s passing. Future has announced the full details of the soundtrack album for the Superfly remake. The album features the songs from the film, including collaborations between Future & Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, Young Thug, as well as tracks by Sleepy Brown feat. Scar, Khalid, Miguel & more. The album features the film’s original music composed by George Streicher (Howard Lovecraft and the Frozen Kingdom). Three new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the survival drama Adrift directed by Baltasar Kormákur and starring Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin. The film’s original music is composed by Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka) (Lion, Patrick Melrose, Gunpowder, The Current War). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as Emiliana Torrini’s cover of Tom Waits’ I Hope That I Don’t Fall in Love With You. Milan Records to Release ‘Skyscraper’ Soundtrack

Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the action thriller Skyscraper. Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the HBO original movie The Tale. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ariel Marx (To Dust). Also included is the song Wait On Me by Samora Pinderhughes & Common. The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes/stream on Apple Music and will added to Amazon and other digital music stores next Friday, June 8. The Tale is written and directed by Jennifer Fox and stars Laura Dern, Isabelle Nélisse, Jason Ritter, Elizabeth Debicki, Ellen Burstyn and Common. The movie is based on Fox’s own life and follows a professor and documentary filmmaker who is a survivor of sexual abuse and recalls what happened to her when she was 13.
