In the Cloud is directed Robert Scott Wildes and stars Nora Arnezeder, Gabriel Byrne, Justin Chatwin, Tomiwa Edun and Laura Fraser. Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the animated sequel Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation directed by Genndy Tartakovsky and starring Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, David Spade and Steve Buscemi. The film’s original score is composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The LEGO Movie). Selections of the composer’s score are available on a soundtrack compilation featuring the composer’s music from all three movies in the series (click here for the full details). Madison Gate Records has released the original song It’s Party Time written by David Foster & Michael Bublé and performed by Joe Jonas (click here for more information). Also available are digital singles feat. Tiësto’s DJ music from the movie, as well as the song I See Love by Jonas Blue feat. Joe Jonas.
Also opening wide is the action thriller Skyscraper directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber and starring Dwayne Johnson, Neve Campbell, Chin Han, Roland Møller, Pablo Schreiber, Hannah Quinlivan, Byron Mann and Noah Taylor. Steve Jablonsky (Transformers, The Island, Ender’s Game, Deepwater Horizon) has composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the YouTube Red original series Impulse. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by DERU (aka Benjamin Wynn) (Avatar: The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness). The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 20, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Impulse is based on the third novel in the Jumper series by Steven Gould and stars Maddie Hasson, Missi Pyle, Sarah Desjardins, Enuka Okuma, Craig Arnold and David James Elliott. Republic Records will release two soundtrack EPs for the comedy drama Blindspotting. The first EP features seven songs performed by lead actors Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal, as well as Moe Green, E-40, Mistah F.A.B., Kiana Ledé, Ryan Nicole and Emily Raver.
