The full details of the soundtrack album for the thriller Mandy have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by late composer Johann Johannsson (Arrival, Sicario, The Theory of Everything, Prisoners). The soundtrack will be released on September 14, 2018 by Lakeshore Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track from the score has already been released last month and a second track, Forging the Beast, will be released as a digital single tomorrow. Check back on this page for the pre-order link. Johann Johannsson to Score Panos Cosmatos’ ‘Mandy’
Johann Johannsson is attached to score the upcoming action thriller Mandy. The film will be directed by Panos Cosmatos (Beyond the Black Rainbow) and is set to star Nicolas Cage. The movie is set in the primal wilderness of 1983 where a broken and haunted man hunts an unhinged religious sect who slaughtered the love of his life. Daniel Noah, Josh C. Waller (Cooties, Camino) & Elijah Wood are producing the project for Spectrevision, alongside Nate Bolotin (The Raid 2) for XYZ Films and Adrian Politowski (Erased) for Umedia. The composer has previously scored 2013’s McCanick produced by Noah & Waller.
