Universal Pictures has announced today that Michael Abels will be reteaming with Jordan Peele on the upcoming social thriller Us. The film is written and directed by Peele and stars Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss, Tim Heidecker, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Evan Alex, Madison Curry, Cali Sheldon, Noelle Sheldon, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Anna Diop. No plot details have been announced yet. Peele is also producing the project with Sean McKittrick (Donnie Darko, Bad Words), Jason Blum (The Purge, Paranormal Activity) and Ian Cooper. Tyler Bates and Joel J. Richard are set to return as the composers for the upcoming action sequel John Wick 3: Parabellum. The film is directed by Chad Stahelski who helmed the previous installment and co-directed the first part in the series and stars Keanu Reeves,Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane and Lance Reddick who will reprise their roles from the previous movies. John Debney has recently scored the upcoming comedy The Beach Bum. The film is written and directed by Harmony Korine (Spring Breakers, Gummo) and stars Matthew McConaughey, Zac Efron, Isla Fisher, Jonah Hill, Jimmy Buffett and Snoop Dogg. The movie follows follows the misadventures of Moondog, a rebellious and lovable rogue who lives life large. Premiering tomorrow, July 30, is the Paramount Network docu-series Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story directed by Jenner Furst & Julia Willoughby Nason, executive produced by Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter and based on the book of the same title by Sybrina Fulton & Tracy Martin . The show’s original music is composed by Khari Mateen (Explicit Ills) and Danielle Furst. ‘Believer’ Soundtrack to Be Released

Leeway has released a soundtrack album for the South Korean crime thriller Believer. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dalpalan (The Wailing, Claire’s Camera, A Bittersweet Life). The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 7, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Believer is directed by Lee Hae-yeong and stars Cho Jin-woong, Ryu Jun-yeol, Kim Joo-hyuck, Kim Sung-ryoung and Park Hae-jun. The Orchard will release a soundtrack album for the documentary 40 Years in the Making: The Magic Music Movie. The album features the music from the film written and performed by Magic Music, including original recordings of the band from the early 1970s that have never before been available. Opening in most theaters is the action thriller Mission: Impossible – Fallout directed by Christopher McQuarrie and starring Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Henry Cavill, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin, Vanessa Kirby, Sian Brooke, Angela Bassett and Sean Harris. The show is created by James DeMonaco based on his hit movie franchise and stars Gabriel Chavarria, Lili Simmons, Lee Tergesen, Jessica Garza, Amanda Warren, Colin Woodell, Hannah Emily Anderson and William Baldwin.
