Hollywood Records and Marvel Music will release a new soundtrack album for Marvel’s Netflix original series Daredevil. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s third season composed by John Paesano (The Maze Runner, The Defenders, Spider-Man video game, Dragons: Riders of Berk, The Star). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 19 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. The labels have previously released soundtrack album featuring Paesano’s score from the first two seasons. The album features the film’s original score composed by Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (The Gift, Ozark, Enemy, Martha Marcy May Marlene, Fear the Walking Dead). Johann Johannsson Named Film Composer of the Year at 2018 World Soundtrack Awards

Johann Johannsson was named Film Composer of the Year at the 18th World Soundtrack Awards, tonight’s closing event of the 45th Ghent Film Festival. Among the late composer’s final scores released over the last year were Mandy, Mary Magdalene (co-scored with Hildur Guðnadóttir who accepted the award on his behalf) and The Mercy. He previously received the award last year in the same category. Tamar-kali received her first World Soundtrack Award in the Discovery of the Year category for her score from Dee Rees’ drama Mudbound. Ramin Djawadi was honored as TV Composer of the year for his work on HBO’s Game of Thrones & Westworld and FX’s The Strain.
