Jeff Russo has been confirmed as the composer of the upcoming CBS All Access original series Star Trek: Picard. The show stars Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on Star Trek: The Next Generation and several movies, including Star Trek Generations, First Contact, Insurrection and Nemesis. Isa Briones, Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd, Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway and Evan Evagora are co-starring in the drama, which will follow Picard into the next chapter of his life. West Hall Recordings will release a soundtrack album for the Academy Award-winning Netflix original documentary Icarus. The album features the film’s original music composed by Adam Peters (Savages, Snowden, Sand Castles) . The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 23 and will be available to download here. Icarus is directed by Bryan Fogel and follows the filmmaker and amateur bike racer as he plunges into a vast doping scandal involving a Russian scientist – Putin’s most-wanted whistleblower.
