A soundtrack album has been released for the Northern Ireland-set revenge thriller Bad Day for the Cut. The album features the film’s original music composed by James Everett (The Dig). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Bad Day for the Cut is co-written and directed by Chris Baugh and stars Nigel O’Neill, Susan Lynch, Józef Pawłowski, Stuart Graham, Anna Próchniak and Ian McElhinney. Two new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:
Opening in around 900 theaters is the thriller Don’t Let Go directed by Jacob Estes and starring David Oyelowo, Storm Reid, Mykelti Williamson, Brian Tyree Henry and Alfred Molina. The film’s original music is composed by Ethan Gold (The Song of Sway Lake). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Also opening wide is the drama Bennett’s War written and directed by Alex Ranarivelo and starring Michael Roark, Trace Adkins, Allison Paige, Ali Afshar, Tony Panterra, Hunter Clowdus, Brando Eaton and Michael King. Jamie Christopherson (American Wrestler: The Wizard, Running Wild, Dirt) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release.
