The show is created by Daisy Coulam (Grantchester) and stars David Tennant, Cush Jumbo, Anna Madeley and Matthew McNulty. The 4-part thriller centers on two families in the aftermath of a tragedy that claims the lives of a woman and her three children. Composer Adam Peters (Savages, Snowden, The Yellow Birds) is reuniting with director Bryan Fogel on the upcoming documentary The Dissident. The film centers on Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi’s disappearance after entering Saudi Arabia’s consulate in Istanbul and follows his fiancée and dissidents around the world as they are left to piece together clues to his brutal murder.
