The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Dredd, Tales from the Loop, Wormwood, Walking with Dinosaurs 3D). Christopher Young (Spider-Man 3, Hellraiser, Ghost Rider, The Hurricane, The Grudge) and Brian & Caleb Chan have contributed original music to the Quibi anthology series 50 States of Fright. The show executive produced by Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, The Evil Dead) & Debbie Liebling (South Park, PEN15) explores stories based on urban legends from Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Oregon, and Washington. The first episode, The Golden Arm, is co-written and directed by Raimi and stars Rachel Brosnahan, Travis Fimmel and John Marshall Jones. Opening in select (drive-in) theaters and on VOD today is the animated sequel Trolls World Tour directed by Walt Dohrn and starring Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick, Rachel Bloom, Kelly Clarkson, James Corden, Sam Rockwell, Ozzy Osbourne, George Clinton and Mary J. Blige. RCA Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie by Timberlake, Ludwig Goransson & others (click here for the full album details). Theodore Shapiro (The Devil Wears Prada, Ghostbusters, Tropic Thunder) has composed the film’s original score. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music (click here for more information).
Also opening on VOD is the horror thriller We Summon the Darkness directed by Marc Meyers and starring Alexandra Daddario, Johnny Knoxville, Keean Johnson, Maddie Hasson, Logan Miller, Amy Forsyth and Austin Swift. Timothy Williams (Brightburn, Walking with the Enemy, Red Sky, Wild Horses, Debug) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which follows a young woman and two girlfriends on the way to a heavy metal concert, when they hear a news report of a local murder believed to be tied to a series of satanic killings, is being released by Saban Films. Zarathustra Music has announced the digital release of Michael Collins – Live from Dublin. The EP features the first live performance of the music from the 1996 film composed by Academy Award winner Elliot Goldenthal (Frida, Heat, Alien 3, Interview with the Vampire, Batman Forever, S.W.A.T.) performed by the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, New Dublin Voices, Mick O’Brien, and conductor Ernst van Tiel.
