Walt Disney Records will release the official soundtrack album for Pixar Animation Studios’ feature Elio. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rob Simonsen (Deadpool & Wolverine, The Whale, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Foxcatcher, The Way Back, It Ends with Us, The Age of Adaline, (500) Days of Summer, Nerve). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 20 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Princes Production has released a soundtrack album for the French drama Ange. The album features the film’s original music written by director Tony Gatlif, singer/songwriter and lead actor Arthur H, as well as Delphine Mantoulet (Korkoro, Geronimo, Indignados), among other artists. Planet E Communications will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Desire: The Carl Craig Story. The album features music by the film’s subject, techno producer, DJ & record label creator Carl Craig, and includes tracks across his many monikers (69, Psyche/BFC, Innerzone Orchestra). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 20 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Silva Screen Records has released the first-ever soundtrack album for the 2006 Italian drama Dark Sea (Mare Nero) directed by Roberta Torre and starring Luigi Lo Cascio, Anna Mouglalis, Maurizio Donadoni and Massimo Popolizio. The album features the film’s original music composed by Shigeru Umebayashi (House of Flying Daggers, In the Mood for Love, The Grandmaster, 2046,Curse of the Golden Flowers). Carter Burwell Elected to Academy Board of Governors

Composer Carter Burwell (Fargo, Carol, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, True Grit, The Banshees of Inisherin, The Blind Side, Twilight, Being John Malkovich) has been elected to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 2025-2026 Board of Governors. He joins Lesley Barber and Richard Gibbs who will be the other two governors of the music branch in the next term. It will mark Burwell’s first term serving on the music branch board. The Academy’s 19 branches are each represented by three governors, who may serve up to three consecutive three-year terms, followed by a two-year hiatus, after which eligibility renews for up to two additional three-year terms for a lifetime maximum of 12 years. ELA has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the 1999 Polish/French drama Pan Tadeusz co-written and directed by Andrzej Wajda and starring Bogusław Linda, Alicja Bachleda ,Grażyna Szapołowska, Michał Żebrowski, Marek Kondrat and and Andrzej Seweryn.
