The only movie opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the horror thriller Come Play written and directed by Jacob Chase (based on his short story of the same title) and starring Azhy Robertson, Gillian Jacobs and John Gallagher Jr.. The film’s original music is composed by Roque Banos (Don’t Breathe, In the Heart of the Sea, Evil Dead, The Girl in the Spider’s Web, The Machinist, Sexy Beast). A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score is in the works. Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the horror thriller Spell directed by Mark Tonderai and starring Omari Hardwick, Loretta Devine, John Beasley and Lorraine Burroughs. Ben Onono (Safe, Paranoid, Half of a Yellow Son) has composed the film’s original music. Paramount Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today.
