Premiering on Thursday, July 10, is the Disney Channel original movie Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires directed by Paul Hoen and starring Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly, Freya Skye, Kylee Russell, Malachi Barton, Chandler Kinney, Swayam Bhatia, Julian Lerner, Mekonnen Knife, Lisa Chappell and Jonno Roberts. The film’s original score is composed by Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, Dog Man, Knuckles, Daisy Jones & the Six, Shrinking, Early Man). Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the sequel and a score suite on Thursday. Check out our soundtrack announcement for the full album details and to learn more about the movie, which will air on the Disney Channel and will also be available to stream on Disney+ the following day.

Also premiering on Thursday is the Netflix original anime series Leviathan based on Scott Westerfeld’s novels and starring Ayumu Murase, Natsumi Fujiwara, Shunsuke Sakuya, Mie Sonozaki, Yasuhiro Mamiya, Ivan Shibata and Fairouz Ai. Nobuko Toda and Kazuma Jinnouchi (Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, Metal Gear Solid 4) have composed the show’s original score. Joe Hisaishi (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, The Boy and the Heron) has written the project’s original songs. A soundtrack album will be announced soon. Luis Felber & Matt Allchin Scoring Netflix’s ‘Too Much’

Luis Felber (aka Attawalpa) & Matt Allchin have teamed up to score the new Netflix original series Too Much. The show is created by Lena Dunham (Girls, Tiny Furniture) & Felber and stars Megan Stalter, Will Sharpe, Michael Zegan, Richard E. Grant, Janicza Bravo, Daisy Bevan, Adele Exarchopoulos, Rita Wilson, Dean-Charles Chapman, Andrew Scott, Andrew Rannells, Rhea Perlman, Prasanna Puwanarajah, Emily Ratajkowski, Kaori Momoi, Adwoa Aboah and Stephen Fry. The 10-part romantic comedy follows a New Yorker who moves to London hoping for a love story and falls for an indie musician who’s anything but the typical romantic hero. ‘Modi, Three Days on the Wing of Madness’ Soundtrack Album Released

Cadiz Entertainment has released a soundtrack album for the biographical drama Modi, Three Days on the Wing of Madness. The album features the film’s original score composed by Sacha Puttnam (The Keeper, The Confessional) & Steve McLaughlin (Chaos, County Kilburn). Also included are songs by The Tiger Lillies, The Velvet Underground, Charles Trenet, Carla Morrison, Jump, Little Children & others. Opening in theaters nationwide this week is the sci-fi/action adventure Jurassic World Rebirth directed by Gareth Edwards and starring Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Rupert Friend, Luna Blaise, Philippine Velge, David Iacono, Ed Skrein and Bechir Sylvain. The film’s original music is composed by Alexandre Desplat (The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Shape of Water, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The King’s Speech, Godzilla, The Queen). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Wednesday. Opening in around 300 theaters this week is the Canadian post-apocalyptic thriller 40 Acres co-written and directed by R.T. Thorne and starring Danielle Deadwyler, Michael Greyeyes, Kataem O’Connor, Leenah Robinson, Elizabeth Saunders, Milcania Diaz-Rojas, Jaeda LeBlanc, Haile Amare and Tyrone Benskin. Todor Kobakov (Born to Be Blue, Backstabbing for Beginners, The Samaritan, Most Dangerous Game, Tricksters, Sweetness in the Belly) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced. Mark Snow (1946-2025)

Mark Snow passed away today at age 78 at his home in Connecticut. The composer, best known for his theme and score from the Fox mystery series The X-Files, wrote numerous scores for film and television over the last five decades. He earned six Emmy Award nominations for his music from The X-Files and received nine other Emmy nominations for the television movies Something About Amelia, The Last Capone, An American Story, Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All, Helter Skelter, the miniseries Children of the Dust, as well as UPN’s Nowhere Man and CBS’ Ghost Whisperer. His other TV scoring credits include The WB’s Smallville & Birds of Prey, Fox’s Millennium, Harsh Realm & The Lone Gunmen and CBS’ Blue Bloods, which finished its series run last year. ‘Kpop Demon Hunters’ Soundtrack CD and Vinyl Edition Announced

Republic Records will release physical versions of the best-selling soundtrack album for Sony Pictures Animation’s Netflix original film KPop Demon Hunters. The album features the original songs from the movie, including Takedown written by Lindgren & the animated feature’s executive music producer Ian Eisendrath and performed by TWICE’s Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Chaeyoung, tracks written by EJAE, Mark Sonnenblick, Vince,Danny Chung, KUSH, Stephen Kirk, Jenna Andrews, as well as a score suite by composer Marcelo Zarvos. New Soundtrack Album for Cartoon Network’s ‘Justice League’ Released

The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Lolita Ritmanis Michael McCuistion & Kristopher Carter (Batman: The Animated Series, Teen Titans, Young Justice, Avengers Assemble, Babylon 5: The Road Home, Batman: The Brave and the Bold). La-La Land Records has previously released a 4-CD set featuring highlights from the composers’ music from both seasons of the show back in 2016.
