Accidental Editions will release a soundtrack album for the British drama Hot Milk. The album features the film’s original music composed by Matthew Herbert (Disobedience, A Fantastic Woman, Gloria Bell, The Responder, The Wonder, The Beast Must Die, The Cave, Temple). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 4 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Hot Milk is written and directed by Rebecca Lenkiewicz (who made her feature directorial debut on the project) and stars Emma Mackey, Vicky Krieps, Fiona Shaw, Vincent Perez, Patsy Ferran, Yann Gael and Vangelis Mourikis. The movie follows a young woman who travels to the Spanish coast with her domineering mother, who seeks a cure for a strange illness. The drama, which premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival, was released in select U.S. theaters last Friday by the Independent Film Company and is opening in UK theaters this weekend.
