The full details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix original animated film KPop Demon Hunters have been revealed. The album features the original songs from the movie, including Takedown written by Lindgren & Ian Eisendrath and performed by Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Chaeyoung of TWICE (which is also being released as a limited edition violet 7” vinyl single), as well as tracks written by EJAE, Mark Sonnenblick, Danny Chung, Vince, KUSH, Jenna Andrews, Stephen Kirk & others. Also included is a score suite by composer Marcelo Zarvos (The Equalizer 3, Fences, Wonder, May December, Good American Family, The Affair, The Good Shepherd). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 20 by Republic Records. KPop Demon Hunters is directed by Maggie Kang & Chris Appelhans and features the voices of Arden Cho, Ahn Hyo-seop, May Hong, Joel Kim Booster, Ji-young Yoo, Daniel Dae Kim, Ken Jeong, Kim Yunjin, Lee Byung-hun and Liza Koshy. The Sony Pictures Animation production follows three Kpop superstar who must use their secret identities as badass demon hunters to protect their fans from an ever-present supernatural threat. The film will premiere tomorrow on Netflix and is also being released in select theaters this weekend.
