Composer Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, Mulan, Man on Fire, Unstoppable) is reteaming with director Ridley Scott on the upcoming period drama The Last Duel. The film is directed by Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Alien, Blade Runner) and stars Matt Damon, Adam Driver, Jodie Comer, Ben Affleck and Harriet Walter. The movie is set in 14th century France and tells the tale two of knights whose bond is tested by treachery and a young woman forced to navigate the brutal and oppressive culture of the era in order to survive. The movie is inspired by the true story of when 6-year old boy set off on a big adventure to meet his favorite author, Beatrix Potter. John Hannah is narrating the comedy drama. ‘Electric Jesus’ Soundtrack Album Details

Joyful Noise Recordings will release a soundtrack album for the coming-of-age comedy Electric Jesus. The album features the score and songs from the movie, including the original tracks from the film performed by the fictional Christian hair metal band 316. Daniel Smith (aka Danielson) serves as the score composer and music producer. The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 26, 2021 and is available to pre-order here. A vinyl edition is also in the works. Electric Jesus is written and directed by Chris White and stars Judd Nelson, Brian Baumgartner, Shawn Parsons, Rhoda Griffis and Claire Bronson. The movie tells the story of a never-famous 1980s metal band that gets introduced to a flashy Christian Rock promoter who wants to take the band on the road for a summer of paid rock gigs, a shot at recording an album in Nashville and fulfilling the bands’ biggest dream – to open for Stryper. The comedy follows an alien that crash lands on Earth with a secret mission to kill all humans and passes himself off as a small-town human doctor. Daniel Pemberton (Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Birds of Prey, Enola Holmes, Motherless Brooklyn, The Trial of the Chicago 7) has confirmed that he will be returning to score the upcoming Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel. The animated film will be directed by Joaquim Dos Santos (Voltron: Legendary Defender) and is being written by David Callahm (Wonder Woman 1984, The Expendables, Zombieland: Double Tap). No plot details have been announced yet. Shameik Moore will return as the voice of Miles Morales and Hailee Steinfeld is set to reprise her role as Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman.
