Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Thunder Force. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Fil Eisler (Revenge, Empire, Superintelligence, The Titan, UnReal, Life of the Party, How to Be Single). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 9 and will be available to stream/download here. The comedy’s end titles song written by Eisler, Scott Ian (Anthrax) & Corey Taylor (Slipknot & Stone Sour) has already been released last week and is available as a digital single now. Thunder Force is directed by Ben Falcone and starring Melissa McCarthy, Octavia Spencer, Jason Bateman, Bobby Cannavale, Melissa Leo, Pom Klementieff, Taylor Mosby, Marcella Lowery and Melissa Ponzio. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Mark Korven (The WitchThe LighthouseCube, The Terror: Infamy, In the Tall Grass). Also included are four songs performed by The Watts Wonders. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 9 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Them is created by Little Marvin and stars Deborah Ayorinde, Ashley Thomas, Alison Pill, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Melody Hurd and Ryan Kwanten. The full details of the first soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier have been revealed. The album features the original score from the first three episodes of the show composed by Henry Jackman (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, Wreck-It-Ralph, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, X-Men: First Class, Big Hero 6). Also included is the Captain America Drum Corps’ performance of the Alan Menken-penned song  Star Spangled Man from the second episode. The Vol. 1 soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 9 by Hollywood Records/Marvel Music and will be available to stream/download here (and any other major digital music stores). Wave Theory Records has announced a remastered edition of the soundtrack album for the 2000 horror drama Shadow of the Vampire directed by E. Elias Merhige and starring John Malkovich, Willem Dafoe (who received an Academy Award nomination for his performance), Cary Elwes, John Aden Gillet, Eddie Izzard, Udo Kier and Catherine McCormack. The album features the film’s original music composed by Dan Jones (On Chesil Beach, Any Human Heart, World on Fire, Westwood: Punk, Icon, Activist, Man in an Orange Shirt, My Scientology Movie) and performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. The composer also re-recorded two piano solos for the release. The first-ever digital release of the soundtrack will be coming out this Friday, April 9 and is available for pre-order here and will also be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music stores.

Varèse Sarabande Records has announced a number of new soundtrack LPs on Record Store Day 2021’s newly announced release dates, including a deluxe 3-LP set for the 1999 sci-fi classic The Matrix directed by the Wachowski siblings and starring Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hugo Weaving, and Joe Pantoliano. The album features the complete score from the film composed and conducted by Don Davis (The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, Jurassic Park 3, Bound). The release is pressed on Glitter-Infused Green vinyl, expanded to 44 tracks, and housed in a new art design, and also includes classic film stills and an exclusive new interview with the composer. Rapper/record producer G-Eazy has made his film scoring debut on the upcoming indie horror thriller 18 & Over. The film is directed by Jimmy Giannopolous and stars Ashley Benson, Jon Foster, Jake Weary, Sky Ferreira, Luis Guzman, Duke Nicholson, Winnie Harlow, A$AP Nast, John Robinson, Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson. G-Eazy also appears in the pandemic-inspired movie, which takes place when quarantine leads to a night of terror. Giannopolous co-wrote the screenplay with Diomedes Raul Bermudez who is also producing the project with Benson, Siena Oberman (Mainstream, The Sinners) and Cassius Corrigan.
