Composers Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (OzarkBoy Erased, The Gift, The White Tiger, Enemy, The Devil All the Time) are reteaming with director Charlie McDowell on the upcoming Netflix original film Windfall. The thriller starring Jason Segel, Lily Collins and Jesse Plemons follows a young couple who arrive at their vacation home, only to find out it’s being robbed. Andrew Kevin Walker (Seven, Sleepy Hollow) wrote the screenplay based on a story by himself, McDowell, Segel and Justin Lader. McDowell, Segel, Plemons & Collins are also producing the project with Alex Orlovsky (Blue Valentine, The Place Beyond the Pines) and Duncan Montgomery (Freeheld, Silk Road). Bensi & Jurriaans have previously scored McDowell’s first two features, The One I Love and The Discovery. Windfall is expected to premiere in 2022 on Netflix.

The composers’ other recent projects include the National Geographic documentary Becoming Cousteau, which is currently playing in select theaters. Also coming up for Bensi & Jurriaans is the Netflix series Pieces of Her, the fourth and final season of Ozark (to premiere on January 21, 2022) and new episodes of Fear the Walking Dead, which currently airs in its seventh season every Sunday on AMC.
