Opening in theaters nationwide today is the drama Cry Macho directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Eastwood himself, Eduardo Minett, Natalia Traven, Fernanda Urrejola, Dwight Yoakam and Horacio Garcia-Rojas. The film’s original music is composed by Mark Mancina (Moana, Tarzan, Bad Boys, Speed, Twister, August Rush, Training Day). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as an original song performed by Will Banister last week. Also opening wide is the action thriller Copshop directed by Joe Carnahan and starring Gerard Butler, Frank Grillo, Alexis Louder and Toby Huss. Clinton Shorter (District 9, The Expanse, 2 Guns, Contraband, Pompeii, Boss Level) has composed the film’s original music. Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last Friday.
