Abel Korzeniowski (A Single Man, The Nun, Penny Dreadful, Nocturnal Animals, W.E.) has been hired to score the upcoming Showtime original series Halo. The show is developed by Kyle Killen (The Beaver, Awake) based on the hit video game of the same title and stars Pablo Schreiber, Yerin Ha, Natascha McElhone, Bokeem Woodbine, Shabana Azmi, Bentley Kalu, Natasha Culzac and Kate Kennedy. The live-action drama centers on an epic 26th century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant.

Robin Foster (Anthropoid, Untogether, Metro Manila) is the composer of the upcoming Netflix original series Criminal. The show is created by George Kay & Jim Field Smith and will comprise of 12 unique stories set in 4 different countries: France, Spain, Germany and the UK. Cast members include Katherine Kelly, Lee Ingleby & Nicholas Pinnock (in the UK), Margot Bancilhon, Laurent Lucas & Stéphane Jobert (in France), Eva Meckbach, Sylvester Groth & Florence Kasumba (in Germany) and Jorge Bosch, José Ángel Egido & Nuria Mencía (in Spain).

‘Yellowstone’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Released
Lakeshore Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Paramount Network original series Yellowstone. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Brian Tyler (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious, Iron Man 3, Now You See Me, Crazy Rich Asians). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Sony Classical has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music from the first season. Yellowstone is created by Taylor Sheridan and stars Kevin Costner, Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Cole Hauser, Danny Huston, Gil Birmingham and Gretchen Mol.
Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘When They See Us’ to Be Released
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix limited series When They See Us. The album features the show’s original music composed by Kris Bowers (Green Book, Dear White People, Monsters and Men, Black Monday) who received his first Emmy Award nomination for his work on the project. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 9 and will be available to download here. When They See Us is directed by Ava DuVernay and stars Michael K. Williams, John Leguizamo, Felicity Huffman, Niecy Nash, Blair Underwood, Christopher Jackson, Joshua Jackson, Famke Janssen, Aurora Perrineau, William Sadler and Jovan Adepo.
Kris Bowers to Score Netflix’s ‘Raising Dion’
Kris Bowers has been tapped to score the upcoming Netflix original series Raising Dion. The show developed by Carol Barbee (UnREAL) based on the comic book created by Dennis Liu and stars Alisha Wainwright, Ja’Siah Young, Michael B. Jordan, Jason Ritter and Jazmyn Simon. The drama centers on a single mom who must hide her young son’s superpowers to protect him from exploitation while investigating their origins and her husband’s death.
Soundtrack Album for Epix’s ‘Perpetual Grace, LTD’ Released
Fat Possum Records has released a soundtrack album for the Epix original series Perpetual Grace, LTD. The album features the original songs from the show performed by The Jones Sisters (aka series creator Steven Conrad, Bobby Bare Jr, Jim Becker & Brad Jones), including the theme song Comet, which has previously been released as a digital single. WaterTower Music has released a new soundtrack album for the CW musical comedy drama Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. The album features the songs from the show’s fourth and final season written by Rachel Bloom, Adam Schlesinger and Jack Dolgen and performed by the series’ cast, including Bloom herself, Donna Lynne Champlin, Vincent Rodriguez III, Scott Michael Foster, Gabrielle Ruiz, Pete Gardner, Vella Lovell, Luca Padovan, Skylar Astin & others. Labrinth’s & Zendaya’s ‘All for Us’ from HBO’s ‘Euphoria’ Released
Republic Records has released a new version of All for Us from tonight’s season finale of the HBO original series Euphoria. The track is a collaboration between the show’s composer Labrinth and lead actress Zendaya and is based on Labrinth’s original track of the same title, which was introduced earlier in the season. Premiering tonight is the docu-series Serengeti created by Simon Fuller and directed by John Downer who are both also executive producing the project. The show’s original music is composed by Will Gregory (Nowhere Boy, My Summer of Love) and features vocals by Lola Lennox. The series is narrated by Lupita Nyong’o and follow a cast of African wildlife, including lions, zebras, baboons and cheetahs, over the course of a year.
