Olafur Arnalds (Broadchurch, Defending Jacob, Electric Dreams, Chasing the Present) is scoring the new AMC+ original series Moonhaven. The show is created by Peter Ocko (Lodge 49, Pushing Daisies) and stars Emma McDonald, Joe Manganiello and Dominic Monaghan. The sci-fi thriller is set 100 years in the future and follows a lunar cargo pilot and smuggler who finds herself accused of a crime and marooned on Moonhaven, a utopian community set on a 500 square mile Garden of Eden built on the Moon to find solutions to the problems that will soon end civilization on Mother Earth.

‘Trying’ Season 3 Soundtrack Album Details
Communion Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Trying. The album features the original songs from the show’s third season written and performed by Bear’s Den. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 22 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track, A Good Love, Pt. 2 (feat. Maisie Peters), is already available to stream/download now and can also be checked out below. Polydor and Atlantic Records have previously the soundtracks for Season 1 and Season 2. Trying is created by Andy Wolton and stars Rafe Spall, Esther Smith, Eden Togwell, Mickey McAnulty, Oliver Chris, Sian Brooke, Darren Boyd and Robyn Cara .
David Buckley Scoring Netflix’s ‘The Sandman’
David Buckley (The Good Wife, Angel Has Fallen, The Forbidden Kingdom, Nobody, Papillon, Greenland, The Stranger) has composed the original music for the upcoming Netflix original series The Sandman. The show is based on Neil Gaiman’s DC comic book series of the same name and stars Tom Sturridge, Gwendolyn Christie, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Asim Chaudhry, Charles Dance, Vivienne Acheampong, Boyd Holbrook, Mason Alexander Park, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Jenna Coleman, Donna Preston, Niamh Walsh, Joely Richardson, David Thewlis, Stephen Fry, Kyo Ra, Razane Jammal, Sandra James Young and Patton Oswalt.
Federico Jusid Scoring Hulu’s & Star+’s ‘Santa Evita’
Federico Jusid (The Secret In Their Eyes, Kidnap, Watership Down, The Head, Life Itself, Loving Pablo, Misconduct) is the composer of the new Argentine limited series Santa Evita. The show is developed by Marcela Guerty & Pamela Rementaria and stars Natalia Oreiro, Ernesto Alterio, Diego Velázquez, Francesc Orella and Darío Grandinetti. The 7-part drama is based on the best-selling book of the same title by Tomás Eloy Martínez and tells the story of Eva Perón’s embalmed body, which remained unburied for three years awaiting the construction of a monument that was never completed.

Premiering in the U.S. on Wednesday, July 6, is the natural history series The Green Planet narrated by David Attenborough and executive produced by Michael Gunton. The show’s original music is composed by Benji Merrison (SAS: Red Notice, General Magic) & Will Slater (Dynasties). Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score this past April. Premiering on Friday, July 8, is the Apple TV+ limited series Black Bird developed by Dennis Lehane and starring Taron Egerton, Paul Walter Hauser, Greg Kinnear, Sepideh Moafi and Ray Liotta. The Scottish post-rock band Mogwai (ZeroZeroZero, The Returned, Kin) has composed the show’s original music. First Song from ‘Zombies 3’ Soundtrack Released
Walt Disney Records has released the first song from the soundtrack for the Disney+/Disney Channel original movie Zombies 3. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms is Alien Invasion written by Antonina Armato, Tim James, Thomas Armato Sturges & Adam Schmalholz and performed by the film’s cast. Antonio Sanchez Scoring HBO’s ‘The Anarchists’
Grammy Award-winning jazz drummer and composer Antonio Sanchez (Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), Get Shorty, Politics, Instructions Manual) has written the original score for the new HBO original documentary series The Anarchists. The show is directed by Todd Schramke and tells the story of “Anarchapulco,” an event that was originally created as a conference held in Acapulco, Mexico, promoting the ideals of pure anarchy. The 6-parter follows individuals engaged in this movement with full access to the drama that ensues as a community tries to live alongside tourists and drug cartels with only the principles of anarchy as their guideposts.
‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 – Volume 2 Soundtrack Album Released
The full track list of the soundtrack album for the fourth season of the Netflix original series Stranger Things have been revealed. The album features the sixteen songs from the first volume of the Season 4 soundtrack, as well as six additional tracks from the final two episodes of the new season: Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo by Rick Derringer, Fire and Rain by James Taylor, Spellbound by Siouxsie and the Banshees, Master of Puppets by Metallica, When It’s Cold I’d Like to Die by Moby and Steve Perry’s & Bryce Miller’s extended remix of Journey’s & Steve Perry’s Separate Ways (Worlds Apart). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms (including Amazon). A physical (CD, cassette and vinyl) will be coming out on September 9 and is now available for pre-order here.
‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’ Soundtrack to Be Released
Amazon Content Services will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon original series The Summer I Turned Pretty. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s first season composed by Zachary Dawes (Big Time Adolescence, The Peanut Butter Falcon, There’s Someone Inside Your House, Generation). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 1 and will be available to stream/download here. The Summer I Turned Pretty is created by Jenny Han based on her bestselling book of the same name and stars Lola Tung, Jackie Chung, Christopher Briney, Rachel Blanchard, Gavin Casalegno, Colin Ferguson, Alfredo Narciso, Minnie Mills, Sean Kaufman and Tom Everett Scott. The coming-of-age drama follows an ordinary teenage girl who spends the summer in Cousin’s Beach, where she reunites with her childhood friend and becomes tangled up in a love triangle between him and his brother.

BBC announced today that Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, The Phantom of the Open, Emma, Vita & Virginia, Munich: The Edge of War, Roar, Vanity Fair) has composed the original music for the upcoming animated Christmas animated special The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. The composer’s score is performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra and conducted by Geoff Alexander and will be featured in the animated short based on Charlie Mackesy’s bestselling illustrated book of the same title and starring Tom Hollander, Idris Elba, Gabriel Byrne and Jude Coward Nicol.
