Olafur Arnalds (Broadchurch, Defending Jacob, Electric Dreams, Chasing the Present) is scoring the new AMC+ original series Moonhaven. The show is created by Peter Ocko (Lodge 49, Pushing Daisies) and stars Emma McDonald, Joe Manganiello and Dominic Monaghan. The sci-fi thriller is set 100 years in the future and follows a lunar cargo pilot and smuggler who finds herself accused of a crime and marooned on Moonhaven, a utopian community set on a 500 square mile Garden of Eden built on the Moon to find solutions to the problems that will soon end civilization on Mother Earth. Ocko also serves as the project’s showrunner and is executive producing the AMC Studios production with Deb Spera. Moonhaven will premiere this Thursday, July 7 on AMC+.
