Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the BBC limited series The Gold. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Simon Goff. Bobby Krlic (aka The Haxan Cloak) (Midsommar, Snowpiercer, The Alienist: Angel of Darkness, Paper Girls, Returnal, Triple 9, Seven Seconds) is the composer of the new Netflix original series Beef. The show is created by Lee Sung Jin and stars Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, Joseph Lee, David Choe, Young Mazino, Ashley Park, Patti Yasutake, Mia Serafino, Bernard White and Maria Bello. The comedy drama revolves around two strangers – a failing contractor and an unfulfilled entrepreneur – who get involved in a road rage incident that sparks a feud between them and brings out their darkest impulses.

SATV will release a soundtrack album for the Sky original drama A Town Called Malice. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Alfie Godfrey (Horsepower) and Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, Black Adam). A Town Called Malice is created by Nick Love and stars Jason Flemyng, Jack Rowan, Tahirah Sharif, Martha Plimpton, Dougray Scott, Daniel Sharman, Lex Shrapnel, George Jaques and Eliza Butterworth. The crime thriller is set in the early ’80s and follows a family of former South London gangsters who’ve fallen to the bottom of the criminal food chain as they flee to the Costa del Sol in Spain and realize this is a golden opportunity to re-invent themselves and re-capture their former glory.

The album features the show’s original music composed by Blair Mowat (Class, The Amazing Mr. Blunden, Electric Man, McDonald & Dodds, Happy!). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, March 17 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Nolly is written by Russell T. Davies & Nicola Shindler and stars Helena Bonham Carter in the title role, alongside Augustus Prew, Mark Gatiss and Con O’Neill. The 3-part drama directed by Peter Hoar tells the true story of Noele Gordon who starred in the hit ITV soap Crossroads before being abruptly axed at the height of the show’s success in the early 1980s.
David Russo Scoring The CW’s ‘Gotham Knights’
David Russo (Gotham, Nikita, The Tomorrow People) is composing the original score for the new CW drama Gotham Knights. The show is developed by Natalie Abrams, Chad Fiveash & James Stoteraux (Batwoman) based on characters created for DC by Bob Kane with Bill Finger and stars Oscar Morgan, Fallon Smythe, Olivia Rose Keegan, Tyler DiChiara, Navia Robinson and Misha Collins. The superhero drama follows a group of mismatched fugitives who must band together after Bruce Wayne is murdered to become Gotham City’s next generation of saviors.
Theme Song from Disney Channel’s ‘Kiff’ Released
Walt Disney Records has released the theme song from the new Disney Channel animated series Kiff. The track written by the show’s composer Brad Breeck (Gravity Falls, We Bare Bears) and creators Lucy Heavens & Nic Smal is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Joe Wong Scoring AMC’s ‘Lucky Hank’
Joe Wong (Russian Doll, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, Master of None, The Midnight Gospel, Kenan) has been tapped to score the new AMC original series Lucky Hank. The pilot episode is scored by Wong & Dave Porter (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Disaster Artist) and Wong is composing the music for the other seven episodes of the first season of the show created by Aaron Zelman (Resurrection) & Paul Lieberstein (The Office, Space Force) and starring Bob Odenkirk, Mireille Enos, Diedrich Bader, Olivia Scott Welch, Suzanne Cryer, Sara Amini and Cedric Yarbrough. The dramedy is set at Railton College and revolves around the unlikely chairman of the English department in a badly underfunded college in a working-class American town whose life starts to unravel, while his wife begins to question the path she’s on and the choices she’s made.

Luke Richards (Stay Close) is scoring the new ITV limited series Six Four. The show is created by Gregory Burke (’71, Seven Days in Entebbe) inspired by the best-selling novel of the same name by Hideo Yokoyama and stars Kevin McKidd, Vinette Robinson, Richard Coyle, James Cosmo, Alex Ferns, Andrew O’Neill, Iona Anderson and Nilani Chetty. The 4-part crime drama directed Ben A. Williams (The Pass) is set primarily in Glasgow and follows a police detective and his wife, a former undercover officer, who – after their teenage daughter goes missing – learn that fatal mistakes were covered up in the disappearance of another local girl.
