Deutsche Grammophon has released a new soundtrack album for the HBO original series My Brilliant Friend. The album features the original music from the show’s fourth season composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Ad Astra, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Waltz with Bashir, Taboo, Miss Sloane), as well as several tracks from the composer’s Recomposed By Max Richter: Vivaldi, The Four Seasons album and a cue from his score for the 2008 film Henry May Long. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Listen to two of the new tracks below. The label has previously released three albums featuring Richter’s music from Season 1, Season 2 & Season 3. over the last couple of years. The final season of the drama is based on the bestselling novel My Brilliant Friend: The Story of the Lost Child, the fourth book of the quadrilogy by Elena Ferrante and stars Alba Rohrwacher, Irene Maiorino, Fabrizio Gifuni, Stefano Dionisi, Pier Giorgio Bellocchio, Anna Rita Vitolo, Daria Deflorian, Eduardo Scarpetta, Lino Musella, Edoardo Pesce and Sonia Bergamasco.

‘Uzumaki’ Soundtrack Album Details
Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Adult Swim original anime series Uzumaki. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Colin Stetson (Hereditary, The Menu, Color Out of Space, The First, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Hold Your Breath). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 27 (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download) and will also be available to order as a 180-gram black and white spiral-bound vinyl, housed in a single-pocket jacket, with custom artwork illustrated by Junji Ito himself specifically for the release (click here to pre-order the vinyl edition). Uzumaki based on Ito’s original graphic novel of the same title published by Shogakukan Inc. is set in a town, where everything from a strange whirlwind, billowing smoke from the crematorium, and the residents is turning into spirals, and follows a high school girl as she attempts to escape the curse.
‘The Test’ (‘À l’épreuve’) Soundtrack Released
Unkle Productions has released a soundtrack album for the French television movie The Test (À l’épreuve). The album features the film’s original music composed by Eric Neveux (The Attack, Intimacy, Zombillennium, SamSam, The Illegal, A Stork’s Journey). The Test is directed by Akim Isker and stars Frankie Wallach, Bernard Campan, Clémentine Célarié and Zacharie Chasseriaud. The drama follows a young woman who quits her plan to become a lawyer and has to fight her parents in a legal battle over the custody of her son .
Duncan Blickenstaff Scoring Netflix’s ‘Nobody Wants This’
Duncan Blickenstaff (It Ends with Us, Hollywood Stargirl, Alex, Inc., Outmatched) has composed the original score for the new Netflix original series Nobody Wants This. The show is created by Erin Foster (Barely Famous) and stars Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Tovah Feldshuh, Stephanie Faracy, Paul Ben-Victor, Michael Hitchcock and Jackie Tohn. The comedy follows an agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi who fall in love and have to navigate their differing outlooks on life and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families.
‘Reasonable Doubt’ Season 2 Soundtrack EP Released
Hollywood Records has released a new soundtrack EP for Onyx Collective’s Hulu original series Reasonable Doubt. The 5-track EP features five songs from the show’s second season produced by series composers Adrian Younge & Ali Shaheed Muhammad (Luke Cage, Boogie, Run This Town, Sugar, The Equalizer, Power Book III: Raising Kanan) feat. Nayanna Holley, Alice Smith, Melanie Charles, India Shawn & TJ Mixson. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. ‘The Lord of the RIngs: The Rings of Power’ Season 2, Episode 7 (‘Doomed to Die) Soundtrack Albums Details
The details of the soundtrack album for the seventh episode of the second season of the Prime Video original series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power have been revealed. The album features the original music from Episode 7 (entitled Doomed to Die) of Season 2 composed by Emmy Award winner Bear McCreary (Outlander, The Walking Dead, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 26 by Amazon Content Services and will be available to stream/download on Amazon Music. The label has previously released the composer’s scores from the first six Season 2 episodes (Elven Kings Under the Sky, Where the Stars Are Strange, The Eagle and the Sceptre, Eldest, Halls of Stone & Where Is He?), as well as the Season 2 album featuring selections of the McCreary’s music from the new season over the last couple of weeks.
Nami Melumad Scoring Pixar’s Disney+ Series ‘Dream Productions’
Nami Melumad (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds & Prodigy, Thor: Love and Thunder, An American Pickle, The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, Absentia) has composed the original music for Pixar Animation Studios’ upcoming Disney+ original series Dream Productions. The show is written and directed by Mike Jones (screenwriter of Soul & Luca) and features the voices of Paula Pell, Richard Ayoade, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Kensington Tallman, Alli Maki, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Phyllis Smith and Lewis Black. The series is set between the events of Pixar’s features Inside Out & Inside Out 2 and follows Riley who gets sent to Dream Productions, where acclaimed director Paula Persimmon is trying to create the next hit dream after being paired up with a smug daydream director looking to step up into the big leagues of night dreams.
‘The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish’ Soundtrack Album Released
Republic Records Kids & Family has released a soundtrack album for the Nickelodeon animated series The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Caleb Chan & Brian Chan (The Thundermans Return, Alert: Missing Persons Unit, Allegiance, Panhandle, Pinecone & Pony, 50 Stages of Fright). Also included are the songs from the series written by Ryan Lofty & Courtney Lofty, as well as the theme song arranged and produced by Chris Sernel & Grayson DeWolfe (previously released as a digital single). The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish is developed by Daniel Abramovici, Ashleigh Crystal Hairston, Lindsay Katai & David Stone based on the original The Fairly OddParents series, which ran between 2001 and 2017, and stars Ashleigh Crystal Hairston, Daran Norris and Susanne Blakeslee.
‘Penelope’ Soundtrack Album Details
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the coming-of-age drama series Penelope. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, The Outsider, Speak No Evil, Enemy, The Gift, The Staircase, Boy Erased, Fear the Walking Dead, A Murder at the End of the World) with Julia Piker. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 24 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composers’ first track (Feels Free) below. Penelope is created by Mark Duplass & Mel Eslyn and stars Megan Stott, Austin Abrams, Rhenzy Feliz and Krisha Fairchild. The 8-parter follows the 16-year-old title character who is feeling out of place in modern society and gets drawn into the unknown wilderness, where she begins forming a new life for herself.

Premiering tonight is the new CBS drama Matlock developed by Jennie Snyder Urman inspired by the classic 80s/90s series of the same name and starring Kathy Bates, Skye P. Marshall, Jason Ritter, Leah Lewis and David Del Rio. The show’s original music is composed by Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Wrestlers, Twisted Metal, Fright Krewe, Obliterated, Good Sam, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Florida Man).
