Premiering tonight is the Showtime original series Let the Right One In developed by Andrew Hinderaker and starring Demián Bichir, Anika Noni Rose, Madison Taylor Baez, Grace Gummer, Ian Foreman, Jacob Buster, Kevin Carroll and Nick Stahl. The show’s original music is composed by Dan Romer (Luca, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Station Eleven, Maniac) & Giosuè Greco (Not Going Quietly, Welcome to Wrexham). Check out our previous article to learn more about the drama, which made its streaming debut this past Friday and will air every Sunday night on Showtime.

Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, October 11, is the internationally produced TV series Professionals created by Jeff Most & Michael Colleary and starring Tom Welling, Brendan Fraser, Elena Anaya, Jazzara Jaslyn and Ken Duken. Kormac has composed the show’s original music. The action drama, which follows a top-tier security operative who is paid to protect the interests of rich and powerful clients by any means necessary, first premiered in Scandinavian markets on Viaplay back in 2020 and is making its U.S. debut on The CW.

Dan Romer & Giosuè Greco Scoring Showtime’s ‘Let the Right One In’ TV Series

Dan Romer (Luca, Station Eleven, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Maniac, Beasts of No Nation) has teamed up with Giosuè Greco (Not Going Quietly, Big Man on Campus, Welcome to Wrexham) to score the new Showtime original series Let the Right One In. The show is developed by Andrew Hinderaker (Away) inspired by the Swedish novel and feature (scored by Johan Söderqvist) of the same title and stars Demián Bichir, Anika Noni Rose, Grace Gummer, Madison Taylor Baez, Ian Foreman, Kevin Carroll, Jacob Buster and Nick Stahl. The 10-part dramatic thriller follows a father and his daughter who turned into a vampire ten years ago and is living a closed-in life, able to go out only at night.

Rachel Portman to Score Showtime’s ‘King Shaka’

Rachel Portman (The Cider House Rules, Emma, Chocolat, The Manchurian Candidate, Never Let Me Go) has revealed in a recent interview during the Zurich Film Festival (where she received the Career Achievement Award) that she is set to score the upcoming Showtime original series King Shaka. The show is created by Olu Odebunmi & Tolu Awosika and stars Charmaine Bingwa, Nkeki Obi-Melekwe, Tony Kgoroge, Sindi Dlatu and Bahle Hadebe. The drama tells the story of the Zulu Empire founder Shaka and his unlikely rise to power, uniting multiple tribes across vast stretches of Africa in the early 19th century to transform his power into legend.

Details for ‘The Man Who Fell to Earth’ Score Album Revealed

The full details of the second soundtrack album for the Showtime original series The Man Who Fell to Earth have been revealed. The album features the show’s original score composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, The Umbrella Academy, Legion, The Night Of). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 30 by Lakeshore Records and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The label has previously released an album featuring themes and sketches from Russo’s score this past June. The Man Who Fell to Earth is developed by Alex Kurtzman & Jenny Lumet based on the novel of the same title by Walter Tevis and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Naomie Harris, Jimmy Simpson, Sonya Cassidy, Rob Delaney, Joana Ribeiro, Kate Mulgrew and Bill Nighy.

Showtime announced today that Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds & Daniel Wayne Sermon and Nico Vega frontwoman Aja Volkman have composed the original score for the upcoming documentary series Spector. The show is directed by Sheena M. Joyce & Don Argott (Framing John Delorean, Believer) and centers on the enigmatic, legendary music producer Phil Spector. The 4-parter examines what happened on the fateful night of February 3, 2003 when actress Lana Clarkson was shot dead in his mansion.

The 8-part drama follows Julian Kaye, a present-day reimagining of Paul Schrader’s 1980 classic (scored by Giorgio Moroder), after his wrongful conviction release from prison as he navigates his complicated relationships with his former lover, his troubled mother, and the people who betrayed him.

Premiering in the U.S. today is the Showtime sports documentary McEnroe directed by Barney Douglas about the tennis legend and four-time US Open champion. The film’s original music is composed by The Maccabees guitarist and songwriter Felix White (The Edge). A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score was released digitally this summer and a vinyl edition will be coming out in 2023. Premiering on Thursday, September 8, is the Disney+ original movie Pinocchio directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Tom Hanks, Luke Evans, Cynthia Erivo, Keegan-Michael Key and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth. Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Avengers: Endgame, Forrest Gump, Cast Away) has composed the film’s original score and also co-wrote original songs with Glen Ballard. Soundtrack Album for Showtime’s ‘McEnroe’ Documentary Released

Felix White (of the indie rock band The Maccabees) has released a soundtrack album for the Showtime sports documentary McEnroe. The album features the composer/songwriter/guitarist’s original score from the film and is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. A limited vinyl edition (in different variants) is set to come out next year and is available to order here. McEnroe is directed by Barney Douglas (who previously collaborated with White on 2019’s The Edge) and centers on the four-time US Open champion from New York as he explores his pursuit of perfection, his rockstar lifestyle and painful personal life and shares his losses of mental health and family life to win at all costs.

The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 10 by Lakeshore Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.
