Michael Abels (Get Out, Nope, Star Wars: The Acolyte, Us, Sirens, The Burial, See You Yesterday, Landscape with Invisible Hand, Breaking) and Robert Wallace have been tapped to score the upcoming Peacock original series The ‘Burbs. The show is created by Celeste Hughey inspired by Joe Dante’s 1989 feature of the same name (scored by Jerry Goldsmith) and stars Keke Palmer, Jack Whitehall, Paula Pell, Julia Duffy, Mark Proksch and Kapil Talwalkar. The mystery comedy follows a young couple who have reluctantly relocated to the husband’s childhood home and whose world is upended when a new neighbor moves in across the street, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light.

‘Ponies’ Soundtrack Album Details
Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Peacock original series Ponies. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Emmy Award nominee Jung Jaeil (Squid Game, Parasite, Okja, Twinless, Mickey 17, Broker, Tempest) who has made his American television scoring debut on the project. Also included are several tracks by Christopher Willis (The Death of Stalin, Veep, The Personal History of David Copperfield) who has also contributed music to the series. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 15 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the title track below. The show is created by David Iserson (The Spy Who Dumped Me) & Susanna Fogel (Cat Person, Winner) and stars Emilia Clarke, Haley Lu Richardson, Adrian Lester, Nicholas Podany, Artjom Gilz, Petro Ninovskyi and Vic Michaelis. The espionage thriller follows two “PONIES” (“persons of no interest” in intelligence speak) who become CIA operatives after their husbands are killed under mysterious circumstances in the USSR as they uncover a vast Cold War conspiracy and solve the mystery that made them widows in the first place.
