Universal Music Group Nashville has released a new soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original series Landman. The Volume II album features twenty songs from and inspired by the show’s second season by artists including Carter Faith, The Red Clay Strays, Benjamin Tod, Luke Grimes, Shaboozey, Lee Ann Womack, Kassi Ashton, Tanner Adell, Gavin Adcock & others. Breton Vivian Scoring Paramount+’s ‘The Madison’
Breton Vivian (Five Feet Apart, Redeeming Love, Black Dog) has been tapped to score the upcoming Paramount+ original series The Madison. The show is created by Taylor Sheridan (Sicario, Hell or High Water) and stars Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Amiah Miller, Patrick J. Adams, Alaina Pollack, Kevin Zegers, Ben Schnetzer, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova and Matthew Fox. The 6-part drama directed by Christina Alexandra Voros (Lawman: Bass Reeves) and is being described as a “study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana”.
‘Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’ Soundtrack Album Details
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, Alien: Earth, The Night Of, Legion, Ripley, For All Mankind, Zero Day, The Man Who Feel to Earth). Also included is Rufus Wainwright’s cover version of San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flower Covers in Your Hair) as featured in the first episode, which is embedded after the jump. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 16 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music music services. Premiering on Thursday, January 8, is the British Paramount+ original series Girl Taken developed by David Turpin, Suzanne Cowie & Nessah Muthy based on the novel Baby Doll by Hollie Overton and starring Alfie Allen, Jill Halfpenny, Tallulah Evans and Delphi Evans. Andrew Simon McAllister (Nowhere Special, Old Guy, The Devil’s Doorway, Agatha and the Truth of Murder, The Secret, 37 Days) has composed the show’s original music. The 6-part psychological thriller, which follows two twin sisters whose lives are shattered when one of them is abducted from their quiet rural English town by a beloved local teacher and – after escaping following years of abuse – discovers that freedom brings its own challenges, will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.
Jeremy Zuckerman Scoring Avatar Studios’ ‘The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender’
Jeremy Zuckerman has recently recorded his score for the upcoming animated feature The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender. The film based on Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender animated series is directed by Lauren Montgomery (Superman: Doomsday, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths), co-directed by Steve Ahn & William Mata and features the voices of Dave Bautista, Eric Nam, Dionne Quan, Jessica Matten, Steven Yeun, Roman Zaragoza, Geraldine Viswanathan, Taika Waititi, Dee Bradley Baker, Freida Pinto and Ke Huy Quan. The Avatar Studios production follows Aang, the world’s last Airbender, as he embarks on a global quest to find an ancient power that could save his culture from extinction before it falls into the wrong hands and threatens to upend the peace they sacrificed everything to achieve.
