Matti Bye (Everlasting Moments, The 101-Year-Old Man Who Skipped Out on the Bill and Disappeared, A Serious Game, One Last Deal, Faro) has composed the original music for the new Netflix original series Young Wallander. The show is developed by Ben Harris (Devils) based on Henning Mankell’s best-selling Kurt Wallander novels and stars Adam Pålsson, Richard Dillane, Leanne Best, Yasen Atour, Charles Mnene, Jacob Collins-Levy, Alan Emrys and Kiza Deen. The drama is set in contemporary Sweden and focuses on the formative experiences – professional and personal – faced by Kurt as a recently graduated police officer in his early twenties.

Original Song ‘Rocket to the Moon’ from Netflix’s ‘Over the Moon’ Released
Milan Records has released the first song from the soundtrack for the Netflix animated film Over the Moon. The track, entitled Rocket to the Moon, is written by Christopher Curtis (Chaplin: The Musical), Marjorie Duffield & Helen Park (KPOP The Musical) and performed by Cathy Ang (as the movie’s lead character Fei Fei), and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music services. Carlos Rafael Rivera Scoring Netflix’s ‘The Queen’s Gambit’
Composer Carlos Rafael Rivera is reuniting with writer/director Scott Frank on the upcoming Netflix limited series The Queen’s Gambit. The show is co-written and directed by Frank (Logan, The Lookout) and stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Moses Ingram, Rebecca Root, Bill Camp, Marielle Heller, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Harry Melling, Isla Johnston, Christiane Seidel, Chloe Pirrie and Jacob Fortune-Lloyd. The drama based on Walter Tevis’s novel of the same title is set during the Cold War era and tells the story of an orphan chess prodigy from the age of eight to twenty-two, as she struggles with addiction in a quest to become the greatest chess player in the world.
‘Enola Holmes’ Soundtrack Album Details
Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the mystery adventure Enola Holmes. The album features the film’s original music composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Birds of Prey, Ocean’s 8). The soundtrack is expected to be released digitally on September 18, 2020 and will be available to stream/download here. A CD version is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Enola Holmes is directed by Harry Bradbeer and stars Millie Bobby Brown, Sam Claflin, Henry Cavill and Helena Bonham-Carter. The Legendary Pictures production is based on the book series by Nancy Springer and revolves around Sherlock’s teen sister as she discovers her mother missing and sets off to find her, becoming a super-sleuth in her own right as she outwits her famous brother and unravels a dangerous conspiracy around a mysterious young Lord.
‘Julie and the Phantoms’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Columbia Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Julie and the Phantoms. The album features 15 songs from the musical show performed by the cast. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 10, 2020 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon. A first song from the series, Edge of Great, performed by is already available now as a digital single. Also listen to the track after the jump. Julie and the Phantoms is developed by Dan Cross & David Hoge based on the original Brazilian series Julie e os Fantasmas and stars Madison Reyes, Charlie Gillespie, Owen Patrick Joyner, Jeremy Shada, Booboo Stewart, Cheyenne Jackson, Carlos Ponce, Sonny Bustamante, Jadah Marie, Sacha Carlson and Savannah Lee May.
Will Bates Scoring Netflix’s ‘Away’
Will Bates (Unbelievable, The Magicians, I Origins, The Looming Tower, Nightflyers.) is the composer of the new Netflix original series Away. The show is created by Andrew Hinderaker and stars Hilary Swank, Josh Charles, Vivian Wu and Talitha Bateman. The sci-fi drama follows an American astronaut who leaves behind her husband and daughter to lead an international crew of astronauts on a perilous three-year mission to Mars. Hinderaker and Swank are also executive producing the Universal Television production with Jessica Goldberg, Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood), Matt Reeves (War for the Planet of the Apes, Cloverfield), Edward Zwick (Glory, Legends of the Fall), Adam Kassan (Tales from the Loop) and Jeni Mulein.

Premiering tonight is the HBO docu-series The Vow directed and executive produced by Jehane Noujaim & Karim Amer about the self-improvement group NXIVM, whose leaders have been charged with sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. The show’s original music is composed by Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Horror Story, American Crime Story, Feud: Bette and Joan, Pose, Scream Queens, The Politician). Milan Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Netflix original film All Together Now. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Keegan DeWitt (Hearts Beat Loud, Gemini, All the Bright Places, I’ll See In My Dreams, Her Smell, The Hero). Also included is the original song Feels Like Home by DeWitt and featuring the vocals of lead actress Auli’i Cravalho (available as a digital single now). The soundtrack will be released next Friday, August 28 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. All Together Now is directed by Brett Haley and also stars Fred Armisen, Justina Machado, Carol Burnett, Rhenzy Feliz, Judy Reyes, Taylor Richardson, C.S. Germaine Franco Scoring Trish Sie’s Netflix Movie ‘The Sleepover’
Germaine Franco (Tag, Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Vida, Dope, Little) has composed the original score for the new Netflix original film The Sleepover. The movie is directed by Trish Sie (Pitch Perfect 3) and stars Sadie Stanley, Maxwell Simkins, Ken Marino, Malin Åkerman and Joe Manganiello. The family adventure comedy follows a teen girl and her kid brother who discover that their seemingly normal stay-at-home mom is actually a former high-end thief in the witness protection program. Sarah Rothschild wrote the screenplay.
