Paul Haslinger (Halt and Catch Fire, Underworld, Death Race, The Three Musketeers, Crank, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter) is the composer of the new Netflix original series The Irregulars. The show is created by Tom Bidwell (Watership Down) based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and stars Mckell David, Thaddea Graham, Jojo Macari, Harrison Osterfield, Darci Shaw, Clarke Peters, Royce Pierreson and Henry Lloyd-Hughes. The crime drama is set in Victorian London and follows a gang of troubled street teens who are manipulated into solving crimes for the sinister Doctor Watson and his mysterious business partner, the elusive Sherlock Holmes.

Steven Price Scoring Brian Andrew Mendoza’s Netflix Film ‘Sweet Girl’
Steven Price (Gravity, Our Planet, Suicide Squad, Over the Moon, Baby Driver, Fury, The World’s End) has recently been scoring the upcoming Netflix original film Sweet Girl. The movie marks the feature directorial debut of producer/cinematographer Brian Andrew Mendoza (Frontier, Braven) and stars Jason Momoa, Isabela Merced, Marisa Tomei, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Raza Jaffrey, Justin Bartha, Adria Arjona, Lex Scott Davis, Dominic Fumusa, Brian Howe, Michael Raymond-James, Nelson Franklin and Reggie Lee. The action thriller follows a devastated husband who vows to bring justice to those responsible for his wife’s death while protecting the only family he has left – his daughter.
Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Pacific Rim: The Black’ to Be Released
Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original anime series Pacific Rim: The Black. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Brandon Campbell (Slender Man, The Letter for the King, The Thinning, Amazing Stories) who previously served as a score coordinator on Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim feature for composer Ramin Djawadi. The soundtrack will be released digitally this coming Friday, March 5 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (The Black) is already available now and can be checked out after the jump. Pacific Rim: The Black is created by Greg Johnson & Craig Kyle and features the voices of Gideon Adlon, Calum Worthy and Erica Lindbeck. The show inspired by the 2013/2018 features centers on two siblings who pilot a Jaeger to search for their parents after Kaiju ravage Australia and encounter new creatures, seedy characters and chance allies.

Premiering tomorrow, March 1, is the NBC mystery drama Debris created by J.H. Wyman and starring Jonathan Tucker, Riann Steele, Norbert Leo Butz and Scroobius Pip. The show’s original music is composed by Raney Shockne (Queen of the South, Anger Management, The To Do List, Kevin Can Wait, The Wedding Year). The series, which revolves around a secretive international agency that is tasked with the mystery of a wreckage that starts falling from the sky, will air every Monday night on NBC. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 1 and will be available to stream/download here. ‘Red Dot’ Soundtrack Album Released
Carl-Johan Sevedag (Horizon Line, Borg vs. McEnroe, Top Dog) has released a soundtrack album for the Swedish Netflix original film Red Dot. The album features the composer’s original music from the movie and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music stores. Red Dot is co-written and directed by Alain Darborg and stars Nanna Blondell, Anastasios Soulis, Thomas Hanzon, Johannes Kuhnke, Tomas Bergström, Kalled Mustonen and Anna Azcárate. The psychological thriller follows a young couple trying to rekindle their marriage on a ski trip who suddenly finds themselves stalked by remorseless killers.
Tom Holkenborg (Junkie XL) to Score George Miller’s ‘Furiosa’ and Netflix’s ‘Army of the Dead’ Prequel & Anime Series
Tom Holkenborg (aka Junkie XL) confirmed during a recent appearance on the Film Junkee Vodka Stream that he is attached to score George Miller’s upcoming Mad Max: Fury Road prequel Furiosa. The film will star Anya Taylor-Joy in the title role, alongside Chris Hemsworth and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. Miller (The Witches of Eastwick, Happy Feet, Baby: Pig in the City) is co-writing the screenplay with Nick Lathouris and is also producing the project with Doug Mitchell (Babe, Dead Calm). Holkenborg (Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Alita: Battle Angel, Black Mass, Divergent) has previously scored 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road and is also collaborating with Miller on the upcoming Three Thousand Years of Longing.
Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Kid Cosmic’ to Be Released
Maisie Music Publishing will release the first soundtrack album for the Netflix animated series Kid Cosmic. The soundtrack features selections of the original music from the show composed by Andy Bean (Muppet Babies, Puppy Dog Pals). The Kid Cosmic and the Sonic Courage album will be released digitally tomorrow, February 26 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music services. Kid Cosmic is created by Craig McCracken and features the voices of Jack Fisher, Tom Kenny, Amanda C. Miller, Kim Yarbrough, Keith Ferguson, Grey Griffin and Lily Rose Silver. The animated comedy centers on a boy whose superhero dreams come true when he finds five powerful cosmic stones, but saving the day is harder than he imagined.
Tom Morello to Serve as Executive Music Producer on Peter Sollett’s ‘Metal Lords’
Netflix announced today that Tom Morello (of Rage Against the Machine) will serve as the executive music producer on the upcoming Netflix original film Metal Lords. The movie is directed by Peter Sollett (Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, Raising Victor Vargas, Freeheld) and stars Jaeden Martell, Isis Hainsworth and Adrian Greensmith. The drama revolves around two kids who want to start a heavy metal band in a high school where exactly two kids care about heavy metal. D. B. Weiss (Game of Thrones) wrote the screenplay and is also producing the project with Greg Shapiro (The Hurt Locker, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle).
