Netflix Music will release a new soundtrack album for the streamer’s anthology series Black Mirror. Premiering on Tuesday, April 8, is the Netflix original documentary series The Clubhouse: A Year with the Red Sox directed by Greg Whiteley about the historic sports team 2024 season. Composer Lineup for ‘Black Mirror’ Season 7 Revealed
The full composer lineup for the seventh season of the Netflix anthology series Black Mirror has been revealed. Matthew Herbert (Disobedience, A Fantastic Woman, The Wonder, Gloria Bell, The Responder) & Lucinda Chua (Zona) have composed the music for the episode Euology directed by Chris Barrett & Luke Taylor, written by Charlie Brooker & Ella Road and starring Paul Giamatti & Patsy Ferran about an isolated man who is introduced to a groundbreaking system that allows its users to literally step inside old photographs.
Matthew Herbert Scoring Rebecca Lenkiewicz’s ‘Hot Milk’
Matthew Herbert (Disobedience, The Wonder, A Fantastic Woman, Gloria Bell, The Responder, The Cave, The Beast Must Die, Temple) has composed the original music for the upcoming British drama Hot Milk. The film marks the feature directorial debut of screenwriter Rebecca Lenkiewicz (Ida, Colette, She Said) and stars Emma Mackey, Fiona Shaw, Vicky Krieps, Vincent Perez, Yann Gael, Patsy Ferran and Vangelis Mourikis. The movie based on the novel of the same title by Deborah Levy is set in the scorching heat of a Spanish summer and follows a mother and daughter as they travel to the seaside town of Almería to consult an enigmatic healer who may hold the key to the daughter’s mysterious illness which has left her confined to a wheelchair.
‘Starve Acre’ Soundtrack Album Released
Accidental Editions has released a soundtrack album for the British supernatural folk horror drama Starve Acre. The album features the film’s original score composed by Matthew Herbert (The Wonder, Disobedience, A Fantastic Woman, The Beast Must Die, Gloria Bell, The Responder, The Cave, Temple). Also included is the original song Let Me In in two different version performed by lead actor Matt Smith and Crewdson & Cevanne. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s main theme and Smith’s version of the song after the jump. Starve Acre is written and directed by Daniel Kokotajlo and stars Smith, Morfydd Clark and Erin Richards. The movie based on Andrew Michael Hurley’s novel of the same name is set in rural 1970s England and follows a couple whose son starts acting strangely, when they unwittingly allow dark and sinister forces into their home, awakening an ancient evil.

Matthew Herbert (Disobedience, The Wonder, A Fantastic Woman, The Beast Must Die, Gloria Bell, The Responder, The Cave, Temple) has composed the original music for the upcoming Georgian/French/Italian drama April. The film is written and directed by Dea Kulumbegashvili (Beginning) and stars Ia Sukhitashvili, Kakha Kintsurashvili and Merab Ninidze. The movie tells the story of an ob-gyn in eastern Georgia who performs illegal abortions and comes under scrutiny after a newborn dies during delivery.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the superhero movie Deadpool & Wolverine directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Karan Soni, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams and Matthew Macfadyen. Sebastián Lelio’s ‘The Wave’ to Feature Music by Matthew Herbert, Ana Tijoux, Camila Moreno, Javiera Parra & Others
Matthew Herbert (The Beast Must Die, The Responder,The Cave, Port Authority, Temple) has teamed up with seventeen female Chilean musicians, including Ana Tijoux, Camila Moreno & Javiera Parra to create the original composition for the upcoming musical drama The Wave (La Ola). The film is directed by Sebastián Lelio and stars Daniela López, Avril Aurora, Lola Bravo and Paulina Cortés. The movie is inspired by the wave of “feminist May” mass protests that swept Chile in the spring of 2018 and follows a music student who gets involved in the growing movement on her university campus and revisits her own experiences of mistreatment.

The film is written and directed by Daniel Kokotajlo (Apostasy) and stars Matt Smith, Morfydd Clark and Erin Richards. The movie based on the novel of the same name by Andrew Michael Hurley is set in rural 1970s England and follows an archaeologist and his wife who are relocating to their remote family estate, whose relationship is tested when their young son starts exhibiting strange behavior.

The period drama based on Emma Donoghue’s novel follows a nurse who travels from England to a remote Irish village in 1862 to investigate a young girl’s supposedly miraculous fast.
