Madison Gate Records will release a soundtrack album for the Peacock original series Twisted Metal. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominees Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Florida Man, Die Hart). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 28 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Twisted Metal is developed by Michael Jonathan Smith based on the PlayStation game series of the same title and stars Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, Joe Seanoa and Will Arnett.

Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Florida Man, Die Hart) have been tapped to score the upcoming Peacock original series Twisted Metal. The show is written by Michael Jonathan Smith based on an original take by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (Deadpool, Zombieland) and stars Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Thomas Haden Church, Will Arnett and Joe Seanoa. The action comedy is based on the classic PlayStation game series of the same title about a motor-mouthed outsider who is offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
‘Florida Man’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s limited series Florida Man. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, The Boys: Diabolic, Die Hart). The soundtrack, titled Florida Man: Swamp Jams from the Sunshine State, will be released digitally tomorrow, April 14. Florida Man is created by Donald Todd and stars Edgar Ramírez, Abbey Lee, Lex Scott Davis, Anthony LaPaglia, Otmara Marrero and Emory Cohen. The crime dramedy follows a struggling ex-cop who forced to return to his home state of Florida to find a Philly mobster’s runaway girlfriend, only to get swept up in a wild treasure hunt.

Premiering on Wednesday, April 12, is the second season of the Freeform original series Single Drunk Female created by Simone Finch and starring Sofia Black-D’Elia, Ally Sheedy, Sasha Compere, Lily Mae Harrington, Ian Gomez and Garrick Bernard. The film is directed by Emma Seligman (Shiva Baby) and stars Rachel Sennott, Ayo Edebiri, Havana Rose Liu, Ruby Cruz, Kaia Gerber, Nicholas Galitzine, Marshawn Lynch, Miles Fowler, Dagmara Dominiczyk and Punkie Johnson. The movie follows two unpopular girls in their senior year who start a fight club to try to impress and hook up with cheerleaders.

Legacy Recordings has announced a soundtrack album for the Roku Channel original movie Weird: The Al Yankovic Story. The album features a selection of “Weird Al’s” greatest hits, some of which were newly recorded for the film, as well as a new original song (Now You Know) written and performed by Yankovic. Also included is the movie’s original score composed by Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, Impractical Jokers: The Movie) and performed by the Budapest Scoring Orchestra. Leo Birenberg & Zach Robinson (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Impractical Jokers: The Movie, Die Hart) are composing the original score for the upcoming Peacock original series Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin. The show is based on the Pitch Perfect feature franchise and stars Adam Devine, Flula Borg, Jameela Jamil, Lera Abova and Sarah Hyland. The comedy is set several years after the second Pitch Perfect movie and follows Devine’s character Bumper Allen as he moves to Germany to revive his music career when one of his songs becomes big in Berlin.
