Dubois Records will release a new soundtrack album for the BBC drama Shetland. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s fifth, sixth, seventh and eight season composed by Emmy Award winner John Lunn (Downton Abbey, The Last Kingdom, The White Queen, Belgravia, The White Princess, Grantchester) and Danny Saul (The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 15. The streaming/download link will be added to this page soon. Silva Screen Records has previously released an album featuring Lunn’s music from the first seasons back in 2018. Shetland is based on Ann Cleeves’ novels and stars Ashley Jensen, Douglas Henshall,Alison O’Donnell, Lewis Howden, Steven Robertson, Anne Kidd, Stewart Porter, Erin Armstrong and Mark Bonnar.

Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, April 11, is the British comedy drama Am I Being Unreasonable? created by Daisy May Cooper & Selin Hizli and starring Cooper & Hizli themselves, Lenny Rush, Jessica Hynes, Amanda Wilkin, Dustin Demri-Burns, David Fynn, Juliet Cowan, Ruben Catt and Karla Crome. The show’s original music is composed by Morgan Kibby (Mothering Sunday, The Watcher, The Power, Girls of the Sun, Grand Army, Tales of the Walking Dead). The series, which centers on an obsessive friendship and maternal paranoia, premiered in the UK last year on BBC One and is making its U.S. debut on Hulu.
Premiering on Wednesday, April 12, is the second season of the Freeform original series Single Drunk Female created by Simone Finch and starring Sofia Black-D’Elia, Ally Sheedy, Sasha Compere, Lily Mae Harrington, Ian Gomez and Garrick Bernard. Tony Kanal (Purple Hearts) (of the bands No Doubt and Dreamcar) is the new composer of the show. The details of the second soundtrack album for the British historical drama series The Last Kingdom have been revealed. The Last Kingdom: Destiny Is All features eleven new tracks, including all-new recordings and reimagined arrangements, written by series composers John Lunn (Downton Abbey, The White Queen, The White Princess), Eivør and Danny Saul. The soundtrack will be released digitally (click here to stream/download) and physically on April 22 (Record Store Day) by A&G Songs LTD.
