Maisie Music Publishing will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Project Power. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, The Raid 2, Straight Outta Compton, Lady and the Tramp, The Greatest Showman, Insurgent). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 14 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music services. The movie is directed by Michael Dowse (Goon, What If) and stars Ed Helms, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Little Gardenhigh, Betty Gilpin, RonReaco Lee, Andrew Bachelor and David Alan Grier. The action comedy revolves around a Detroit cop who reluctantly teams with his girlfriend’s 11 year-old son to clear his name and take down the city’s most ruthless criminal. Shane McCarthy wrote the screenplay.

Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Straight Outta Compton, The Greatest Showman, Lady and the Tramp) has been tapped to score the upcoming sci-fi fantasy drama Spontaneous. The film marks the feature directorial debut of screenwriter Brian Duffield (Jane Got a Gun, Insurgent, The Babysitter) and stars Katherine Langford, Charlie Plummer, Hayley Law, Piper Perabo, Rob Huebel, Yvonne Orji, Chris Shields, Laine MacNeil, Clive Holloway and Bzhaun Rhoden. The movie is based on the YA novel of the same name by Aaron Starmer and centers on a teenager whose life is forever changed when students in her senior class explode for no discernible reason.
