John Williams has premiered a new theme from his score for the upcoming fifth installment in the Indiana Jones series at tonight’s Maestro of the Movies – Celebrating John Williams at 90 concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Helena’s Theme is written for the character played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge in the untitled sequel. Check out several videos of the performance shared on social media below. ‘E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial’ 40th Anniversary Edition Soundtrack Album Announced
La-La Land Records has announced a reissue of the restored and remastered soundtrack album for Steven Spielberg’s 1982 classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial starring Henry Thomas, Drew Barrymore and Dee Wallace. The album release, which coincides with the movie’s 40th Anniversary and the theatrical re-release in select IMAX theaters this coming weekend, features the original music from the Universal Studios and Amblin Entertainment production composed by Academy Award winner John Williams (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone) and includes the same content as the label’s 35th Anniversary Edition from 2017. Remastered and Expanded ‘Jurassic Park’ Soundtrack Album Announced
La-La La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for Steven Spielberg’s 1993 classic Jurassic Park starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Richard Attenborough. The album features the expanded and remastered original music from the Universal Pictures/Amblin Entertainment production composed and conducted by John Williams (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jaws, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial). The 2-CD set features the remastered score presentation (previously released as part of the label’s 2016 Jurassic Park/The Lost World 4-CD set), including – for the first time – the performances and mixes of Journey to the Island and Dennis Steals the Embryo as heard in the film on the first disc, as well as a remastered version of the original 1993 soundtrack and the source music track Stalling Around (Williams’ homage to classic Warner Bros. cartoon music for the film’s Mr. DNA sequence) on the second disc.
‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Soundtrack Album Details
The full details of the soundtrack album for Lucasfilm’s Disney+ limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original music, including the Obi-Wan Theme composed by John Williams (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark), the original score composed by Natalie Holt (Loki, Knightfall, Journey’s End) and the Obi-Wan Theme adapted by William Ross (Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, My Dog Skip, Tuck Everlasting). The soundtrack is set to be released digitally on Monday, June 27 by Walt Disney Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services.

Walt Disney Records has released the theme from Lucasfilm’s Disney+ limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi. The 4-minute track composed by Academy Award winner John Williams who previously scored all nine installments of the Skywalker Saga and also wrote the theme for Solo: A Star Wars Story is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon.
