Premiering tonight is the new Showtime original series Moonbase 8 created by Fred Armisen, Jonathan Krisel, Tim Heidecker & John C. Reilly and starring Armisen, Heidecker and Reilly themselves. The show’s original music is composed by Steven Drozd of The Flaming Lips who made his scoring debut on the comedy. The A24 production centers on three astronauts stationed at NASA’s Moon Base Simulator in a remote part of the Arizona desert as they encounter many obstacles including loneliness, self-doubt and their own incompetence. Premiering tomorrow, November 9, is the HBO original series Industry created by Mickey Down & Konrad Kay and starring Myha’la Herrold, Marisa Abela, Nabhaan Rizwan, Harry Lawtey, David Jonsson, Conor MacNeill and Ken Leung. Electronic music producer Nathan Micay has composed the show’s original music. Expected to top the weekend box office is the animated feature Cars 3 directed by Brian Fee and featuring the voices of Owen Wilson, Cristela Alonzo, Armie Hammer, Larry the Cable Guy, Bonnie Hunt, Cheech Marin, Jenifer Lewis, John Ratzenberger, Lloyd Sherr, Michael Wallis, Paul Dooley, Kerry Washington and Nathan Fillion. The film’s original score is composed by Randy Newman (Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., A Bug’s Life) and has been released by Walt Disney Records. 
Also opening wide is the biographical drama All Eyez on Me directed by Benny Boom and starring Demetrius Shipp Jr, Kat Graham, Lauren Cohan, Hill Harper, Jamal Woolard and Danai Gurira. John Paesano (Daredevil, The Maze Runner, The Defenders, My All American, When the Game Stands Tall) ha composed the film’s original score. No soundtrack album has been announced. All Eyez on Me tells the story of Tupac Shakur and follows the rapper, actor, poet and activist from his early days in New York City until his untimely death at the age of 25. Jamie Christopherson is reuniting with director Alex Ranarivelo on the upcoming action drama Ride. The film starring Shane Graham, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Sasha Alexander, Ali Afshar, Bryan Craig, George Kosturos and Jessica Michelle is based on the inspiring true story of BMX champion John Buultjens, a young teen who is rescued when he is fostered by an unlikely interracial couple, including the foster father who wins the kid over when he buys him his first bicycle. Ranarivelo also co-wrote the screenplay with Hadeel Reda, Jean-Marie Sobeck and Jack Reher (Into the Grizzly Maze).
