Dave Porter has been hired to score the upcoming event series Wayward Pines. The show is created by Chad Hodge (The Playboy Club, Runaway) and stars Matt Dillon, Shannyn Sossamon, Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Juliette Lewis, Toby Jones and Melissa Leo. The series follows a Secret Service agent Ethan Burke who arrives in the bucolic town of Wayward Pines, Idaho, on a mission to find two missing federal agents. M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs) is directing the pilot episode and is also executive producing the project with Hodge, Donald De Line (The Italian Job, Green Lantern) and Ashwin Rajan. Porter is best known for his score for AMC’s Breaking Bad.

‘Fringe’ Season 5 Soundtrack Details
Varese Sarabande has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the fifth season of the Fox sci-fi mystery series Fringe. The album features selections from final season’s original score composed by Chris Tilton. The soundtrack will be released on June 25, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips from the score after the jump. Fringe created by J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci and starring Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson and John Noble ended its series run earlier this year. The final season of 13 episodes was also released on Blu-Ray and DVD earlier this month.

Chris Tilton Scoring ‘Human’ Pilot
Chris Tilton is scoring the pilot for the sci-fi cop buddy cop drama Human. The show is created by J.H. Wyman (The Mexican, Dead Man Down) and stars Karl Urban, Michael Ealy, Minka Kelly, Lili Taylor, Mackenzie Crook and Michael Irby. The project is set in the near future when all LAPD officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids and follows a respected police officer who has shut down emotionally after a tragic mission that claimed the lives of nine of his fellow elite officers. Brad Anderson (The Machinist, The Call) directed the pilot episode. Wyman is executive producing the Warner Bros. TV and Bad Robot production with J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk (Lost, Person of Interest, Star Trek).
iZLER Scoring ‘Reckless’ and ‘Boomerang’ Pilots
iZLER has been tapped to score the CBS drama pilot Reckless. The show is created by Dana Stevens (What About Brian, screenwriter of City of Angels & For the Love of the Game) and stars Anna Wood, Cam Gigandet, Shawn Hatosy, Michael Gladis and Adam Rodrigues. The legal drama is set in Charleston, South Carolina and follows a Yankee litigator a Southern City Attorney who struggle to hide their intense attraction while clashing over a police sex scandal. Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight, Thirteen) directed the pilot episode. Ian Sander and Kim Moses (Ghost Whisperer, Profiler) are executive producing the CBS Television Studios production with Stevens.
Brian Tyler to Score ‘Sleepy Hollow’ and ‘Hatfields & McCoys’ Pilots
Brian Tyler has signed on to score the pilot for the Fox drama Sleepy Hollow. The show is created by Alex Kurtzman & Bob Orci (Star Trek, Transformers) and Phillip Iscove and stars Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie, Orlando Jones, John Cho and Katia Winter. The supernatural thriller is based on The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow and follows Ichabod Crane as he partners with Sleepy Hollow’s Detective Abbie Archer to solve the mysteries of a town ravaged by the battle between good and evil. Len Wiseman (Live Free or Die Hard, Underworld) has directed the pilot. Kurtzman & Orci are producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Wiseman and Heather Kadin. Tyler has previously collaborated with Kurtzman & Orci on the TV shows Hawaii Five-O, Transformers Prime and the feature Eagle Eye.
Steve Jablonsky to Score Fox’s ‘The List’ Pilot
Steve Jablonsky has signed on to score the pilot for the Fox drama The List. The show is created by Paul Zbyszewski (creator of Day Break, writer on Lost and Hawaii Five-0) and stars Michael Peña as a U.S. Marshal who leads the hunt for the person who stole “the list” – a file with the identities of every member of the Federal Witness Security Program – after people in the program start getting killed. Tamsin Egerton, Hilarie Burton and Gary Cole are also starring. Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) is directing the pilot episode and is executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Zbyszewski. Fleischer has previously collaborated with Jablonsky on this year’s feature Gangster Squad starring Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, Emma Stone and Josh Brolin.

John Frizzell has signed on to score the upcoming Fox drama The Following. The show is created by Kevin Williamson (Scream, Dawson’s Creek) and stars Kevin Bacon as an ex-FBI agent who is recruited to recapture an escaped serial killer. James Purefoy, Jeananne Goossen, Maggie Grace, Natalie Zea, Adan Canto, Nico Tortorella and Shawn Ashmore are co-starring. Marcos Siega (Dexter, The Vampire Diaries) is executive producing the project with Williams and also directed the pilot. Frizzell has previously collaborated with Williamson on his feature directorial debut Teaching Mrs. Tingle starring Katie Holmes & Helen Mirren and last season’s CW drama The Secret Circle.

John Swihart is scoring the upcoming FOX comedy The Goodwin Games. The show is created by Carter Bays and Craig Thomas and stars Scott Foley, Becki Newton, T. J. Miller, Kat Foster and Melissa Tang. The series follows three grown siblings who return home after their father’s death, and unexpectedly find themselves poised to inherit a vast fortune – if they adhere to their late father’s wishes. Bays and Thomas have previously created and are executive producing the CBS hit comedy How I Met Your Mother, which Swihart has been scoring for the past seven years. They are also executive producing The Goodwin Games with Chris Harris and Peyton Reed (The Break-Up, Bring It On) who also directed the pilot episode. The 20th Century Fox Television production is set to premiere in early 2013 on FOX.
