Brian Tyler (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Fast & Furious, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Crazy Rich Asians) has revealed during a recent composer panel at this year’s virtual Comic-Con that he is composing the score for the upcoming Disney+ original movie Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers. The live-action/animated hybrid film based on the classic TV series of the same title created by Tad Stones & Alan Zaslove. is directed by Akiva Schaffer (Hot Rod, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping) and stars John Mulaney and Andy Samberg as the voices of the title characters.

‘Loki’ Vol. 2 (Episodes 4-6) Soundtrack Album Details
The full details of the second soundtrack album for the Marvel Studios’ Disney+ original series Loki have been revealed. The album features the original music from the show’s fourth, fifth and sixth episodes composed by Natalie Holt (Knightfall, Herself, Journey’s End, Press, Deadwater Fell). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 23 by Hollywood Records/Marvel Music and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and all other major digital music platforms. A first soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score from the first three episodes was released earlier this month. Loki is developed for television by Michael Waldron, directed by Kate Herron and stars Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.
‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Announced
Walt Disney Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the Disney+ original series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. The album features all songs from the show’s second season, including the reimagined musical numbers from the stage production of Beauty and the Beast, as well as original tracks Even When/The Best Part performed by Olivia Rodrigo & Joshua Bassett and The Rose Song written and performed by Olivia Rodrigo. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, July 30 and will be available to stream/download here. A CD version will be available exclusively at Target. The label has previously released full albums featuring the songs from Season 1 and last year’s holiday special, as well as numerous digital singles.

G-Unit Records has released the project’s theme song Part of the Game performed by 50 Cent feat. NLE Choppa & Rileyy Lanez earlier this year. Premiering in the U.S. today is the Australian comedy The End created by Samantha Strauss and starring Frances O’Connor, Harriet Walter, Noni Hazlehurst, Robyn Nevin, John Waters and Luke Arnold. Antony Partos (Animal Kingdom, The Rover, Mystery Road, 99 Homes, Fahrenheit 451, Jasper Jones) has composed the show’s original music. The series, which follows three generations of a family live with separate but intersecting obsessions, premiered last year in Australia on Showcase and is making its U.S. debut on Showtime. Ré Olunuga to Score Disney+’s ‘Greek Freak’
Nigerian composer Ré Olunuga (Up North, Coming from Insanity) has signed on to score the upcoming Disney+ original film Greek Freak. The movie is directed by Akin Omotoso (Vaya) and stars Uche Agada, Yetide Badaki and Dayo Okeniyi. The drama is inspired by the true story of NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo’s life and his family who through faith, determination, and their unbreakable bond, would unite to lift themselves out of a life of poverty as undocumented immigrants living in Greece. Arash Amel (A Private War, The Titan) wrote the screenplay and Bernie Goldmann (300, Fool’s Gold) is producing the project.
Soundtrack Album for Disney+’s ‘Monsters at Work’ to Be Released

The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Dominic Lewis (Peter Rabbit, The Man in the High Castle, DuckTales, My Spy, Money Monster, Free Birds, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween). Also included are two songs performed by Billy Crystal who stars as the voice of Mike Wazowski. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 9 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music outlets. Monsters at Work is developed by Bobs Gannaway based on Pixar’s feature Monsters, Inc. and also stars John Goodman, Ben Feldman, Mindy Kaling, Henry Winkler, Lucas Neff and Alanna Ubach.

Hollywood Records and Marvel Music will release a soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Black Widow. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The LEGO Batman Movie, His Dark Materials, Bad Boys for Life, The Tomorrow War, The Crown, Genius). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, July 9 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music services. Black Widow is directed by Cate Shortland and stars Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh, David Harbour and Rachel Weisz. The movie follows Natasha Romanoff as she confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises and must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.

The show’s original music is composed by Matthew Herbert (A Fantastic Woman, Gloria Bell, Disobedience, Temple, The Cave, Noughts + Crosses). Accidental Editions has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past May when the drama premiered in the UK on BritBox.
